A TREMENDOUS EVENT - CLUB RACING IS THE SUPPORT SERIES FOR NASCAR K&N EAST & A DRIVER SCHOOL ALL TO BENEFIT WESTLAKE SCHOOL!!
Please come join us for our traditional June Driver School and Club Race event to benefit the Westlake School to be held at our home track at New Jersey Motorsports Park in Millville, NJ. We will have our usual banquet, auction fundraiser and special giveaways. This year the event will be held on Thunderbolt Raceway. This is a perfect spectator event given the proximity of the track to the majority of our members, the excitement of Club Racing and the joy of the kids from the Westlake School who come as our guests. Take a personal day and come out to the track!
Following the success of the last 2 years, we again are offering a special driver school open to students of all skill levels. This driver school is FRIDAY ONLY June 15 and is run in conjunction with the Club Race. Saturday BMW CCA Club Racing is support race series for the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East race to be held on Thunderbolt Raceway at NJMP on June 16. VIP tickets for the Saturday feature Race and NASCAR are also available THERE IS NO STUDENT TRACK TIME ON SATURDAY - only racing!
Because the school is being held before the K&N race this year, no race ticket is included in your registration fee. We will offer a separate option of purchasing a VIP spectator ticket (see below) for the races. Note that there will be Club Races on both Friday and Saturday; NASCAR K&N will run Saturday only.
We will have a Friday evening banquet with door prizes and special auction items to benefit Westlake School in keeping with our tradition of a track-side dinner at summer schools.
For Club Racing this is a tremendous opportunity: two days of racing at a professional race series event. This is the chance to showcase Club Racing to an audience that may not be familiar with what we do, sports car racing that has cars in different classes on the track. For other fans, this is a chance to see where current racers such as Will Turner, James Clay, Jeff Segal and our own Jerry Kaufman started. For our participants, we get to see the up and coming NASCAR racers of the future, and maybe teach them a thing or two about road course racing. And, you can tell yourselves that spectators are actually paying to come see you drive!
VIP Ticket for NASCAR K&N race: We are offering a discounted price VIP ticket for all BMW CCA members for the Saturday K&N race activities. The VIP package includes special access to the Officer's Club, a BBQ buffet, special spectator area, special car corral parking and swag. Come on down on Saturday (whether or not you are driving Sunday) and see our BMW Club Racers and the stars of tomorrow for NASCAR.
Other details of registration times, entry times, paddock parking, etc. will be provided as we get close to the event.

$300 Registration Fee for the Driver School.
$15 for VIP ticket and car corral ($30 savings off the standard price).
Event requirements
Participants must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license.
Rear window tinting must be approved in advance by the Chief of Tech: Tech@njbmwcca.org . Failure to obtain pre-approval may result in being denied permission to participate and forfeiture of the registration fee.
Any damage caused to the paddock or track, including safety barriers, is the responsibility of the participant. Note that the track may collect payment on-site.
NJ BMW CCA does not allow convertibles of any kind nor SUV/SAVs for its events. Spec Miatas, or equivalent, are acceptable if they have a full roll-cage, permanently attached hard-top and current SCCA log book. They must also comply with all vehicle Technical Inspection requirements.
Participants will be charged after acceptance. Cancellations will be accepted prior to 7 days before the start date of the event - midnight July. 8, 2018. Cancellations will be charged a $25.00 handling fee. If NJ BMW CCA must cancel an event for any reason, registrants will be provided a full refund; however, NJ BMW CCA will not be liable for any charges or costs registrants may incur other than the registration fee. Refunds will be issued following the event.
