About this event
Open the season with an HPDE and test day at Thompson Speedway road course. Shake out the off-season bugs from your car and enjoy this historic and challenging track. Experience COM's unique blend of camaraderie, sportsmanship and spirit of competition. We welcome drivers of all abilities and cars of all makes and levels of modification are allowed - safety rules apply. COMSCC has the highest quality track time and instruction anywhere.
This event has a blend of HPDE sessions for student drivers and test sessions for COMSCC licensed drivers.
If the track has ice or snow on it such that it cancels the event, all fees will be deferred to the next event for which a participant registers.
To ensure the health and safety of all participants and staff, and to help our venue remain open and operating, we will comply with all CDC, state, local and venue-specific requirements.
There is going to be a LOT of track time and dedicated in-car and classroom instruction for students! There will be four twenty to thirty minute sessions, or more. If you've never run with COM, this is a great way to get started and prepare for Time Trial competitions. Our points-based car classification system will fit your car into one of our 8 Touring classes for street cars, or one of our 6 Super classes for more modified or purebred race cars.

Event requirements
This event is open to all drivers age 18 and older with a valid driver's license. If you are not a member of COMSCC a current Annual Membership will be included as part of your registration.
The sound limit at Thompson is 103 db.
You will need to know your class before registering. Refer to the rules, and be sure to use the classification tool to prepare and submit your car's classification.
