Teen Ice Driving Clinic - February 19, 2017

Cynthia Lake - MN

About this event

This event has been canceled due to weather and unsafe conditions.

Have you ever been concerned if a regular driver's education course is good enough to keep your teen driver safe on the roads? Do they know who fast they can stop their car?  Or how snow and ice effect driving dynamics? Doesn't it make sense to give your teen a "hands-on" opportunity for how to handle a car?

Well, you've come to the right place! Let our volunteer staff of highly trained driving instructors teach your teen driver how to handle a car.  From slalom and skid pad exercises to braking and accident avoidance, we will teach your teen driver more in one day than they've learned the entire Driver’s Education Course.

This 7-hour program consists of one hour-long classroom session and approximately six hours of behind the wheel exercises with a personal instructor.  The ice-driving clinic starts at 8:00 a.m. and completes at 4:00 p.m. Students, and parents or guardians, should be at the lake by 8am for registration. The classroom session will be held at the Horse and Hunt Club, which is in close proximity, east of the venue from 11 a.m. to noon. We recommend having lunch at the Horse and Hunt Club from noon to 1 p.m.

The cost is $100 per student.
