🏁Tech Session: Meet & Greet with Legendary Porsche Designer Grant Larson

Join us for a Meet & Greet Tech Session with one of the world's premier automotive designers, Grant Larson. Grant will be traveling from Weissach, Germany and has graciously offered to speak to our PCA SDR club while enroute to Monterey for the Pebble Beach Concours. This special event is an opportunity to hear inside information regarding Porsche design and engineering.

Grant Larson spent over three decades as a designer at Porsche AG, where he worked from 1989 until his retirement in 2025. His passion for cars began early as a curator at the Brooks Stevens Museum in Wisconsin, shaping his appreciation for heritage and form. He earned his BFA from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design and later graduated with distinction from the Art Center College of Design. Before joining Porsche, Larson spent three years at the Audi Advanced Design Studio in Munich. He served as lead designer on projects including the first Boxster prototype, Carrera GT, and the 997-generation 911, along with a range of Spyders, Speedsters, and limited-edition models such as the Sport Classic, the 935/19, and the GT3R rennsport. More recently, he worked within the Porsche Sonderwunsch program to create bespoke one-off vehicles for discerning clients. Post-retirement, he has since founded Grant Larson Design, bringing that experience to new creative ventures.
