Event requirements
WELCOME! The SCCA strives to ensure that ALL participants in its events and activities enjoy a welcoming environment. Entry fee for the Summer Haze Track Event is $150.00 per Driver / per car. Additional fee per additional Driver per car will be $75.00 per additional Driver / per car to cover additional sanction fees and insurance fees. Credit / Debit cards only will be accepted as payment for entry fees. Credit / Debit card payment information must be submitted when the Driver or Entrant enters a car at www.motorsportreg.com . Paper check and cash payment is not available. Credit / Debit cards will be charged when the Driver / Entrant arrives at the Registration window at the track. Any Driver / Entrant who withdraws their entry before their car actually enters the pit road or enters the track must contact the Ambassador / Registrar at the track during Registration open hours to arrange for a refund.
DRIVER ELIGIBILITY: All Drivers must be a SCCA member. All Drivers must have a valid driver’s license issued in their state of residence. All Drivers who are less than 18 years of age must meet the requirements of Minor Drivers in Section II - Drivers of the 2021 SCCA Track Event Rules. An SCCA competition license or novice permit is not required. All Drivers will be grouped based on previous Track Event experience. Track Event experience will be reviewed by the Event Lead, the Driver Coach, or their designee, prior to participation. Drivers may be required to provide proof of experience, prior to receiving approval to participate.
CAR ELIGIBILITY: Street licensed vehicles are eligible to be entered in this Track Event. At a minimum, all cars must conform to Safety Level 1 standards as defined in the 2021 SCCA Track Event Rules. Open wheel and sports racer competition type vehicles are not eligible to participate in this Track Event. High center of gravity (HCG) vehicles such as SUVs, pick-up trucks, and vans are not eligible to participate in this Track Event. Race cars that are entered in the Summer Haze Double SARRC are not eligible to be entered in the Track Event.
