Event Description
The Subaru Showdown is a two day autocross championship and Subaru owner's appreciation event jointly hosted by Central Carolinas Region SCCA and South Carolina Region SCCA, consisting of the following events on July 16-17, 2011:
- Autocross - a 2-day event for ALL CARS with two separate courses on the Carolina Motorsports Park West Course. Final awards will be based on cumulative 2-day times. Saturday's results will be counted as part of the Folger Subaru South Carolina Autocross Championship. Sunday's results will be counted as part of the Folger Subaru CCR Solo Series. At the end of each day, the Top 12 Subaru cars (based on PAX standings) will compete in a 3-run shootout. Event details and registration are available on a separate page. - Car Show - Two separate 1-day events for Subarus only with classing based on model/year of Subaru. Event details and registration are available on a separate page. Go to Car Show registration/details.
- PDX - "Performance Driving Experience" - a 2-day HPDE/track day event on the Carolina Motorsports Park East Course for Subarus only. Groups will be available for Novice, Intermediate and Advanced students.
- Time Trial - a 2-day event for Subarus only, held under SCCA Club Trials rules. Practice sessions will be held on the Carolina Motorsports Park East Course, with timed runs in a 3-lap shootout format on the Full Course at the end of each day.

Rules
- This event is held under the SCCA Time Trials Rules (PDF).
- All participants must read the Event Supplemental Regulations (PDF). By registering for this event, you signify that you agree to abide by these regulations.
- Tentative group/session schedule is now available (PDF). Please note that session times are approximate.
- All PDX drivers must read the PDX Drivers Packet (PDF) and (for Novice/Intermediate PDX) complete the tech inspection form contained in the packet.
Entering Multiple Events
Autocross, PDX and Time Trial participants are welcome to enter the Car Show. Unfortunately, Time Trial and PDX entrants will be unable to participate in Autocross, and vice versa, due to overlapping schedules. If you would like to experience both events, it is possible to purchase a single-day PDX entry and a single-day Autocross entry. We apologize for any inconvenience.
PDX Novice/Intermediate Deadline
To assure the availability of instructors PDX Novice/Intermediate Registration will close at 11:59 pm on Friday, July 8. Club Trial and PDX Advanced registration will remain open until Thursday, July 14.
PDX Novice/Intermediate registrants must submit online or via mail an $75, non-refundable deposit to secure their place with an instructor. These deposits must be received in full by Tuesday, July 12. Entry places are limited to the number of available instructors; additional registrants will be placed on a waitlist. Deposits for waitlisted drivers who are not accepted will be refunded in full.

SCCA Membership Validation
- When you register, MotorsportReg will be verifying your SCCA membership status against the National Office's member database. If you do not have a valid membership, you must select the "Weekend Membership" option before you will be allowed to complete your registration.

Your First Name, Last Name, and Member Number in MotorsportReg must match what is on your SCCA Membership Card:
- You can check your MotorsportReg info by clicking the "My Account" tab, then "Edit Clubs" and editing the information under "SCCA - South Carolina Region - Club Racing"
- You can check your SCCA membership info (and edit how your name looks on your card) by logging on to ams.scca.com.
- If you are being forced to purchase a Weekend Membership and you believe this to be in error, or if you recently joined SCCA and your membership is still pending, please contact membership@scsportscar.com and we will assist you right away.
