Steel CityTour

A day-long history of steel making in Pittsburgh, including the Carrie Blast Furnace tour.
This tour gets to the heart of the Steel Town story, getting to know the people, places and
historic events that put Pittsburgh on the map as the steel making capital of the world. The
tour takes travelers to historic places that were key sites in the 1892 Battle of Homestead,
in addition to the Carrie Blast Furnaces National Historic Landmark, once part of the
legendary Homestead Steel Works. This itinerary will connect travelers with the melting
pot of cultures that powered the industrial success of the region.

Event requirements
This is a Porsche Club Event
PORSCHES ONLY
What to wear: The majority of each tour is outside; please dress for the weather. Additionally, the ground is uneven—sensible shoes are a must. Sneakers or boots are recommended. Open-toed shoes and high heels are prohibited. When visiting the Carrie Blast Furnace site, hard hats are required (they are supplied).
The driver safety meeting starts at 8:20 AM.

Registration is mandatory
