This tour replaces the previously scheduled Mother’s Day tour on May 9-11, due to increased prices that weekend and limited availability. We've always done this tour in October in past years so this is something new to try. So enjoy the springtime, hopefully! Greg
Come join us for the Bi-annual return to Cannon Beach tour, as we kick off the Spring season in style! PNWR was last in Cannon Beach in October 2024 so this time we’ll try a spring visit! This is a 3-day tour with the destination being the Tolovana Inn in Cannon Beach right on the Pacific Ocean—I meaning less than a 50 yard jog and you’re in the ocean! See the picture above. Well, maybe a little cold to actually go IN the ocean, but the beach is nice. Long time PNWR members know it well.

We depart Friday morning, April 24th for the drive to Cannon Beach with a lunch stop at Fultano’s Pizza in Clatskanie, OR, followed by some great driving roads down to Cannon Beach. Friday night will be on your own and we will not be having a large catered buffet dinner on Saturday night due to the prohibitive cost per person. Saturday morning, we will take a tour in our same groups down Hwy 101 to the Tillamook Cheese and ice cream Factory for lunch. After the Creamery visit, we will continue on our drive ending up to Seaside, OR via the very scenic and twisting Miami Foley Rd and the even curvier Hwy 53. In Seaside, we will be dining at Dooger’s Seafood and Grill and ordering off their main menu.. Sunday is on your own for the drive back home with whatever stops you choose. In the past, some people have formed their own small groups for the return trip. Breakfast in Cannon Beach is a good way to start yourreturn trip!

Registration opens on Monday, March 9th at noon
Registration closes on Wednesday, April 20 at midnight for the driving tour unless the tour sells out early.. However, the room block at the Tolovana Inn expires on March 24th after which time any remaining rooms go back into their regular system and you may not get the group discount rate after March 24th.
Here is some critical information to know before registering for this tour. The Tolovana requires a one night room depoait when registering for group reservations so no early departures since you will be charged! Also, there is a 7-day Cancellation Policy for group rate rooms meaning you have to cancel your reservation seven days prior to April 24th if you decide not to go, so you really need to make a firm commitment to attend this tour! Our contracted room block consists of 40 rooms and expires on March 24th (30 days prior). Here is our guaranteed room block:
Studio Ocean View (1 Queen Murphy bed, 1 bath, full kitchen, living room, gas fireplace, balcony/patio) $219/night plus tax (8--3 are pet friendly) rooms) ($30 per night per pet for pet friendly rooms)
Standard King Room (1 King Bed, 1 bath, microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker) $179/night plus tax (10--2 are pet frioendly) ($30 per night per pet for pet friendly rooms)
Standard Queen Room (1 Queen Bed, 1 bath, coffeemaker) $139/night plus tax (22 rooms)

You can also book online if you wish to tolovanainn.com if booking online, use the booking code PORS26. If you book online and do not use this code, you will be charged the standard room rate!
As in past years, we will have free parking in a blocked off area for our group of cars (probably using yellow "crime" tape and cones. Tolovana will also provide a car washing station in case the drive down was rainy and you want to clean your car. I'd suggest bringing your own sponge, soap and drying towels, however.

Event requirements
Tour Requirements:
- Cancellations and refunds: Cancellations must be made before Apr 20tth for the tour. However, the hotel block expires on March 24th (one month prior) Make your own reservations per the above instructions! Make sure to mention you are with the Porsche Club group to get the group rate!
- Car club membership: To participate you must be a member of the PCA. PNWR membership is highly encouraged!. Porsche owners who are not members may register and receive a special invitation on a case-by-case basis from the tour organizer..
- Non-Porsches on the Tour: Non-Porsches are not allowed on the tour unless there are extenuating circumstances such as car in the shop car or car sold and no replacement Porsche purchased yet. In these types of cases, approval of the tour organizer in advance of the tour is required.

For Adult participants and attendees: The waiver of liability release form must be signed at the tour start point prior to departing on the tour.. Minors have a separate waiver form (Minors as Observers Only) that must be signed by a parent or guardian who is available at the start point. The waiver(s) may be viewed in advance on www.pca.org-->Forms and Documents-->Waivers. You must be signed in to the website to access the forms.
- Age and driver's license restrictions: All drivers must be at least 18 years old and in possession of a valid US driver's license at the time of the Tour. A driving permit is not acceptable.
- Registering for Passengers: Please make sure to include the names of any passengers riding with you in the space provided during registration. If you have two cars on the tour each car and driver must register with a separate Motorsportreg account.
