Spokes is excited to host an autocross school down in Beeville Texas. This autocross school is primarily intended for novice and intermediate autocrossers, but students of any skill level can sign up.

The curriculum is designed to help you break down autocross into easily digestible pieces. Working with an instructor, you will practice specific core skills the same way a football or basketball player breaks the game down into drills, and then put it all together on a full size autocross course.

There are only 36 spots available in the autocross school. We are intentionally keeping the school small to ensure we provide the best instructional experience possible.

School Schedule (Saturday, Aug 22nd)

• 7:30 AM: Students and instructors arrive on site (you can opt to arrive Friday evening if you wish).

• 8:00 AM – 11:20 AM: Practice 3 separate core skills with help from a dedicated instructor.

• 11:20 AM – 11:35 AM: Walk the TNT course with instructors.

• 11:35 AM – 12:35 PM: Lunch break.

• 12:35 PM – 1:50 PM: Students put skills to practice on the TNT course.

• 1:50 PM – 3:05 PM: Students work the courses while instructors and Test & Tune drivers run.

• 3:05 PM - 4:00 PM: Unmanned courses for fun runs

School Registration Details

• Cost: $75

• ALL registrations will initially be placed on hold.

• Spokes members will be moved from "hold" to "confirmed" first to give priority to members.

• Starting August 16th, any remaining spots will be filled by members or non-members based on registration order.

Test & Tune (TNT)

The Test & Tune event is designed for experienced drivers looking for ample seat time to dial in car setup and hone driving technique. Capped at a maximum of 36 total drivers (including instructors).

Saturday TNT Schedule

• 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM (Fun Runs): Main TNT course active unmanned
• 9:30 AM – 11:20 AM : Main TNT course active w/workers
• 11:20 AM – 11:35 AM TNT Course closed for student walk
• 11:35 AM – 12:35 PM 
  • Main TNT course open to instructors only (unmanned, if they choose to skip lunch).
  • All TNT participants temporarily required to use the three unmanned school elements until further notice:
    • Slalom on concrete
    • Radius testing on asphalt
    • 200x800 ft test course with multiple elements (normal runway entrance)
• 12:35 PM – 1:50 PM (Heat 3): Main TNT course is now reserved for Students only (staffed by TNT). Unmanned school elements remain required for TNT participants.
• 1:50 PM – 3:05 PM (Heat 4): Courses open to all (Students work all 4 elements).
• 3:05 PM – 4:00 PM (Fun Runs)  All work assignments complete. Main TNT course and school elements open unmanned for fun runs.
• 4:00 PM: All courses closed (please fix all cones before ending the day)
• 4:01 PM: Lets hit the hotel pools!
