Registration:  Be sure to complete Registration.  The final registration page has Event Receipt at the top of it.  You should also receive an email stating you are registered.  Lastly, we highly recommend you check the attendance page to make sure your name is on it.  If it is not, then you are not registered and need to try again.

Directions:  Must enter through the Main Gate.  The Guards will likely give you a placard for the Autox.  On the back of that is a map to the event site.  Just in case, once on base continue on the main road until you pass the flightline (hard to miss no trees speed limit picks up and there is a sign).  Just past flightline there is a stop light, turn right and it is your last right just after Duffy Road and before the T intersection at end of the road.  There is usually a sign at the stoplight and just before the turn in to the flight line that say AUTO-X and an arrow.

Non-Drivers: Sign up as Non Driver Status on the checkout page.  Cherry Point does not care how you are participating in the event, they want the same information.  This information is collected through our registration system so that is why you sign up to be on site, the way you do.  There is NO fee associated with the Non Driver Status, and it is free.

Online pre-registration will close on Saturday, September 17th at Midnight. This is to ensure that the information needed for processing onto base is given to base officials with time to spare. Once registration has closed we will not be able to add you name and information to the registration list.  We collect online payment information but do not charge for the event until the morning of the event.  This means there is no charge to register until you show up to drive.  If you are even thinking of attending the event we recommend that you pre-register to get your name on the list.  To guarantee your spot, Pre-register! We cannot guarantee access to base if we do not have your information in time.

Please Check our Supplemental Rules Page here for several Rule Changes that have been instituted this year.

There will be a Novice School held at this event.  This will be held concurrently with the Autocross.  There will be instruction on driving techniques, worker techniques, and ride alongs for those who need/want it.  To register for the Novice School just register in novice class (note: Novice Class registration has changed.  We no longer require a base class for Novice.  Just choose Novice for your Class and PAX on the next screen and complete registration).

Drivers must be 16 years of age and hold a valid drivers license. Drivers under 18 years of age must fill out a minor waiver. All vehicles must pass a technical inspection and helmets must be SNELL 2010 or newer. Loaner helmets are available.

Classing: Car Classing is up to the driver.  To help with this a copy of the SCCA Solo (Autocross) Rule Book can be found here.
This year we are returning to the classic classing scheme.  We will be running individual classes.  This could mean that there are not many people in your Class.  If you decide that you want competition we have created a competition class for anyone to run in.  It is a PAX class so it will rank you on your fastest pax time of the day.

Class and number must be displayed on both sides of the car and be legible at a distance.  We do not supply numbers or tape for drivers.  If you use painters tape be sure it is a contrasting color to your car.
