San Francisco Region Double Regional Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca September 12-14 Sept. 8: Group 2 is now at it's maximum number of 56 cars (9/2/14 a.m.) and new entries will be waitlisted. Group 7 is limited to 61 cars and entries beyond that will be waitlisted. Group 2 split start: (FA, FB, FS, P1, P2, FE, S2) (FM) Group 4 split start: (FC) (FF, CF, FV, FVT, F5) Online entry closes on Tuesday, September 9 at 9 am ($30 late fee after Sept. 7) Enter Now, Pay Later! SFR charges your credit card AFTER the race weekend. When you register, you enter your credit card information. After the race weekend, we actually process the card. There is no test day; the Double Regional starts on Friday.
Here is the general info on pre-parking. People start lining up sometime Thursday morning.
1. The paddock will open for the event at approximately 6 p.m. Thursday, September 11. The paddock gate will be open all night during the event.
a. If you arrive prior to 6 pm Thursday, you must park in the paddock entry staging area. SFR is required by Laguna to stay off the main roads until the paddock opens.
b. You will be staged in the sequence in which you arrived and will be released in the same sequence. An SFR volunteer will direct you during the release process.

Directions to Laguna Seca:
From Highway 1: Take the Hwy 68 exit East. Travel approximately 10 miles to main entrance. Entrance will be on the left.
From Highway 101 South: Take the Monterey-Peninsula/Sanborn Rd. exit (Salinas). Travel West (right turn off freeway) on Sanborn Rd. to South Main St./Hwy 68. Make left turn on to Hwy 68. Travel West on Hwy 68 for approximately 10 miles. Main entrance will be on the right.
From Highway 101 North: Take the Monterey-Peninsula/Sanborn Rd exit (Salinas). Travel West on Sanborn Rd. to South Main St./Hwy 68. Make left hand turn on to Hwy 68. Travel West on Hwy 68 for approximately 10 miles. Main entrance will be on the right.

Updated on 8/ 19: Vehicle Parking before Runoffs
Vehicles can be parked at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca between September 14 and the Runoffs. They must be moved to the Purple Parking lot and there will be no charge. Those leaving a rig will need to sign a "Hold Harmless" release form that states MRLS is not responsible for any damage or theft.
Purple Parking is a dirt lot up above the racetrack.

Event requirements
To enter any SFR road racing event, you must have a valid competition license.
In addition to SCCA licenses, the organizations whose licenses are currently approved by SCCA for competition in Regional events are as follows: BMW CCA Club Racing Full Competition; FIA Issued by any sanctioning body; Historic Sportscar Racing (HSR) HSR License; ICSCC; IMSA; NASA Full Competition; Porsche Club of America Full Competition; SCCA Pro Racing; SVRA; VARA; VMC.
All vehicles must meet the safety requirements detailed in the current SCCA General Competition Regulations. Transponder numbers are required for ALL CARS. If you do not have a transponder listed in your vehicle profile, you MUST rent one.

- If you do not already have one, create an account on MotorsportReg.com after reading these steps.
- Once logged in, click "My Account" in the top right
- Review your vehicle(s), making sure to enter your permanent/preferred numbers and your transponder number
- Enter your medical information for the Ambulance/Life Support crew.
- Now come back to this page and enter the event and pay online.
