Calaveras County is waiting for you! Come on a tour to Arnold, Gateway to the Big Trees. You’ll experience great roads, stop at a new town square, picnic in Calaveras Big Trees State Park, and go to the first Cedar Center Music in the Park for this summer, plus enjoy the scenic mountain town of Arnold.

Cost: $30/car tour fee; all other costs for food and lodging will be on your own.

We have reserved a block of rooms for the Porsche Club at Arnold Meadowmont Lodge, 2011 Hwy 4, Arnold call 888-538-1222 or 209-795-1394. You will be responsible for your own reservation and payment for the night of June 16th. The group rate will be $75 + tax/night. Reserve as soon as possible, as the room block will be released by June 1, 2012.

Arnold’s Cedar Center is known for its Saturday night Music in the Park, so we’ll plan on enjoying the “Tour Guides” show from 6 to 8 PM. Gourmet BBQ dinners and beverages will be available for purchase or you can also do take out from Suzy’s Diner adjacent to the Park.

Sunday is Father’s Day, so the activities will be optional, in case tour members want to leave right after check out to get home to a family get together. For those who can stay through early afternoon, a Sunday brunch will be planned, probably in Murphys.

Once you have made your room reservation, please email us by June 1st that you will be coming on the “Where’s Arnold?” tour. Include the names of everyone coming on the tour, your address, and cell phone number. We need to know if you’re coming with the group in Walnut Creek or if you’re going to meet us at Copperopolis Town Square. Please let us know if you want to join in on a Sunday brunch.
