Schonesland Porsche Club North West Arkansas Tour.
This event takes place over the Labor Day Weekend.
The drive will be centered out of Harrison, Arkansas. The hotels and the restaurants will be the same but we have enhanced the road selection to make the drive even more exciting. If you are new to this drive the roads in Arkansas are amazing, this is a driver's drive.
Drives:
These are terrific roads, you will have a lot of fun here. This is three days of some of the best driving and scenic roads in the Midwest.
Schedule:
We are starting the drive from Joplin, Missouri with a welcome dinner Thursday night (optional). You will need to drive to Joplin, MO on Thursday if you want to start from Joplin. If you are unable to join us in Joplin, you can join the group in Harrison for Saturday's drive, but you would miss a fantastic day of driving on Friday.
For those leaving on Thursday, we will meet at Hotel Renovo parking lot at 10:00 am with planned departure at 10:15 with lunch stop in Toot Toot restaurant in Bethany, MO before continuing to Joplin (this part of the trip is not PCA sanctioned).
Friday morning, drive from Joplin to Harrison through southern Missouri, this includes taking the ferry at Peels Ferry over Bull Shores Lake then continuing on to Harrison, Arkansas.
Saturday morning, drive from Harrison to near Clarksville in central Arkansas then back to Harrison
Sunday morning, drive from Harrison to Mountain Home, on to Mountain View, Shirley and then back to Harrison.
Monday morning, drive home which will include some good roads and minimal interstate use as we will drive home mainly on HWY 65 (this part of the trip is not PCA sanctioned).
This drive takes place over several days, you can choose the days you want to participate. If you choose to participate in just some parts of the drive, please notify Garry Seemann or Skip Hammerman to allow for us to plan on attendance at restaurants.
