Tour of the Oakland Paramount Theatre- March 15th!
This tour will be $10 per person plus a $3.00 service fee ($13 total per person), limit ONLY 35 guests.
The Paramount Theatre is one of the finest showplaces of the nation and the leading example of Moderne Art-Deco design. The 3,000 seat movie palace opened in 1931,and remains a significant National Historic Landmark and an architectural marvel.
Public tours are given twice monthly, but we have arranged for a later private tour for just MBCA members only at 1pm that will last about 1 and 1/2 hours. Matias Bombal, our Sacramento Section vice president is a former employee of this theatre, and with his associates you will have a tour of this historic structure that the regular tours will never equal.
Parking: Telegraph Plaza Garage—Entrance located on Telegraph Ave. between 21st & 22nd Streets: Sat. (Hours 8am - 6pm $2 per hour, max. $10/day.)
We will meet March 15 at the theatre's carriage entrance at 12:45p on 21st street near Broadway for the tour.

Event requirements
Registration is open to Mercedes Benz Club of America members/spouses-partners/guests only. Please provide your membership number at time of registration.
The registration period is 2 weeks only, February 15th - March 1.
Registration is open to Sacramento Section MBCA Members ONLY February 15th - 22nd.
After February 23rd,we welcome The San Francisco Bay Area Section of the MBCA to register for the remaining open spots through the end of the registration period.
The Paramount Theatre is a large movie palace that has a lobby that goes up four stories, and there are NO elevators. Wear comfortable shoes for ascending several flights of stairs. Cameras welcome.
