About this event
About this event
Challenge your friends to join in on this Novice TSD rally, starting and ending in the Langford area. It will be a fun day on some interesting urban roads around our capital city, all paved. The trick is to “stay on time” to avoid any time penalties. Please understand that a TSD rally is not a race, but a precision driving event that pits a team of two, a driver & a navigator, to negotiate roads at challenging but below legal limit speeds.
Sure, it sounds easy, but it’s not! This is a true novice event, so everything is clearly spelled out, with easy to follow instructions, recovery points if you get lost, and talented rallyists with years of experience to answer questions and give guidance. From the "Novice Drivers Meeting”, to Tech Checking that your car meets rally rules, and throughout the event, you will have a BLAST! Smiles and stories, guaranteed.
The Supp Regs describes what you need, where to start from, and all sorts of other information. YOU REALLY NEED TO READ IT.
The Tech Sheet lists exactly what your car needs, to be ready to go, and our workers WILL be checking to make sure these safety provisions have been met. So READ THE LIST and prep yourself and your car accordingly.
And be sure to sign the waiver, each of you. You may NOT sign for someone else. It is done online, using your smart phone.
Event requirements
The maximum number of entries will be 30 cars.
Please be sure to read the supplemental Regulations (Supp Regs).
You will need to have a smart phone with the Richta Competitor app installed for continual operation during this rally. The Competitor app is available for iOS and Android in their respective stores (free).
Since the car you use has to meet basic requirements, mostly safety related, you NEED to read the Tech Sheet ahead of time.
If neither driver nor navigator owns the car, you will need to provide signed permission from the car owner to have it used in the rally.

And again, be sure to sign the waiver, each of you. You may NOT sign for someone else.
