Racing For Heroes is excited to host a morning and afternoon Tune & Test / Open Practice session at PittRace International on October 24th, just before the official Lucky Dog Race kicks off.
This is a unique opportunity for drivers and teams to:

Fine-tune vehicle performance and handling.

Familiarize themselves with PittRace International’s layout and track conditions.
-
Conduct last-minute adjustments to ensure maximum performance on race day.

Gain valuable seat time only hours before the green flag drops.
Whether you’re looking to shake down your car, sharpen your skills, or get your team fully dialed in, this practice event is the perfect way to prepare for competition.

Event requirements
Run Group Designations

Red – Open Track
-
Open passing; point-by not required.
-

Blue – Open Track
-
Passing allowed anywhere on the track.
-
Point-by passing is mandatory.

Driver & Vehicle Safety Requirements

Drivers must be:
-
18 years or older with a valid driver’s license, or
-
At least 16 years old with a valid racing license from a sanctioning body.

Event Policies

All participants and spectators must sign the PittRace International Release of Liability Waiver upon check-in.

Event is limited to race-prepared four-wheel vehicles only.
-
Two- or three-wheeled vehicles (motorcycles, trikes) are not permitted.
Mandatory Drivers Meeting
-
Attendance is required from 0750 – 0815.
-
Only drivers who attend this meeting will be permitted to participate in practice sessions.
