PCA National DE at Sports Car Together Fest

About this event

September 2nd, 3rd, and 4th High Performance Driver Education event as part of the Porsche’s Sports Car Together Fest.

Please join Porsche Club of America and its High-Performance Driver Education program to be part of the second annual Sports Car Together Fest. The ADVANCED SOLO ONLY Driver Education event, limited to 45 drivers, will run two forty-minute run sessions each day*, in between the exciting racing series of the PSCNA GT3 Cup and PSCNA Cayman, Porsche Carrera Cup North America, and Porsche Time Attack races.

Your $650 registration fee will include the advanced driving sessions, one 3-day pass to the SCTF activities, Driver Lounge admittance for you and one guest, SCTF-branded removable car numbers, SCTF swag bag, limited garage space available, and participation in a photo of the largest gathering of GT cars in history. This is an exciting opportunity to be in the paddock with these Porsche racing teams and to be a part of this celebration of Porsche performance road and racing cars together in one location.

Only the following model Porsche cars will be accepted into the Driver Education Event:  STREET CARS:  GT1, GT2, GT2 RS, GT3, GT3 Touring, GT3 RS, GT3 RS 4.0, GT4, GT4 RS, Spyder (982 Spyder Only), Speedster (991.2 Speedster Only), Carrera GT, 918 Spyder, 911R (predecessor to GT3 Touring). MOTORSPORT CARS:  GT3 Cup, GT4 Clubsport, GT2 Clubsport, GT3 R, RSR, 935.

NOTE:  STREET & MOTORSPORT CARS MODELS FROM THE LIST ABOVE that have been race-prepped or modified with performance or safety equipment such as roll bars, cages, racing seats, harnesses, etc. are WELCOME TO ATTEND.  


Porsche Club of America requires your car to be inspected no more than 30 days prior to the event by a qualified person, such as a Porsche mechanic, independent shop, or a pre-approved PCA region representative. Please see further details in the Pre-Registration Requirements section of this event profile.

[*Please note that as in all racing series, delays and lost track time may occur. The PCA Driver Education event run sessions may be cut short due to unavoidable circumstances with the professional race classes. Pro-rated refunds will not be distributed to registered drivers if this occurs.]

Event requirements

APPLICATIONS/ACCEPTANCE – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE REGISTERING:

DRIVERS:  ADVANCED SOLO DRIVERS ONLY.    

You will be required to show proof of your driving status through MSR or by providing your PCA Region’s Driver Education Chair contact information for validation.    All drivers must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.

PORSCHE CARS ONLY:

PRE-EVENT TECHNICAL INSPECTION:  Porsche Club of America requires a pre-event Technical Inspection for your car to be permitted on the track. Please download 2022_ SportsCar Together Fest _DE_Tech Inspection Form.pdf and read it carefully as it may differ from your local PCA Region’s Tech Inspection Form. YOU MUST PRINT THIS FORM and hand it in during on-site registration in order to receive your paddock credentials.

EVENT WAIVERS:  This event will be using the SpeedWaiver system, which must be completed prior to your arrival at the event. You will receive the link for the SpeedWaiver after your registration has been accepted.   Please note that you need a smartphone device to complete this waiver.

PCA DRIVER EDUCATION MINIMUM STANDARDS: Please be familiar with the HPDE Minimum Standards for this event: Drivers Education Minimum Standard | The Porsche Club of America (pca.org)

REGISTRATION STATUS:  You may notice your event status is yellow / "New" - until it becomes green / "Confirmed". This shows that you only have a placeholder in the registration, not an actual slot in the DE event until your driving history can be confirmed. If you see “waitlist”, you have been added to the waitlist for this limited offering event. We will contact you again via email prior to the event to confirm acceptance at which time your credit card will be billed.

PCA MEMBERS ONLY:  If you are not currently a member of the Porsche Club of America, you must join to be eligible for acceptance to the Sports Car Together Fest by using this link:  PCA Membership: Join the Club! CLOTHING:  Full coverage rubber-soled shoes, long-sleeved and legged clothing, and socks required. Natural-fiber clothing is highly recommended. Drivers’ suits, gloves, and shoes made of fire-resistant materials are recommended but not required.

PAYMENTS AND CANCELLATION:

  • PCA accepts only credit cards for payment. You are responsible for maintaining valid credit card information in your profile in this registration system.   Credit card and billing information in this system uses secure connections and is encrypted. You are the only person who has access to your card number. The administrator will only see the last four digits for billing.
  • We bill your credit card upon Acceptance into the event and will charge only Confirmed drivers, not waitlisted drivers.
  • You may cancel for any reason and without penalty by August 12, 2022.

GUESTS:

The registration for this event is for the driver only to have admission to the Speedway and access to the Sports Car Together Fest activities. All other guests must purchase an event ticket through this link Purchase General Admission Tickets in order to enter the Speedway. 

You may also register for the PCA Corral ($75) and Parade Laps ($25).
