Come one, come all to our Porsche Prom where we will be eating with the fishes at Birch Aquarium, and set the stage for a stellar year with Porsche Club of America, San Diego Region! Our Porsche Prom is an opportunity to get dressed up, meet new members, connect with old friends, have delicious dinner and drinks, and enjoy! Let us roll out the red carpet for you, and celebrate the evening in style! Dinner and wine will be served, and we will have live entertainment! This evening is even more special as we will also be celebrating the Board Members of 2021 and all of our club accomplishments, and then welcoming and introducing our 2022 Board of Directors, so that you can get to know all of the volunteers who will be serving you in 2022. This joyous event will take place on Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The cost of this event is $100 per person and includes a lavish dinner and dessert, 2 glasses of wine, and entertainment. New member certificates are welcome and encouraged!
Plated dinners will include first course and dessert, and two glasses of wine. Please be sure that when you register you choose your main course option of either Chicken & Salmon or Vegetarian.
We would love to have ALL of our members present, but space is limited. So please do RSVP as soon as possible. This will be an evening to remember at an unforgettable, classic venue! ***We are updating our requirements for attendance to the Porsche Prom in light of current events and to give everyone in attendance peace of mind and as much safety as possible. The Club shall require attendees of the Porsche Prom/Installation Dinner (1/8/22) to be fully vaccinated (as defined by the CDC) or to have a negative COVID test result from either the day of or the day before the event. (The CDC defines fully vaccinated as: 2 shots of Moderna or Pfizer, or 1 shot of Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Boosters are highly desirable and recommended.) To help us speed up the registration process, we are asking you to kindly either upload your proof of vaccination to your motorsportreg.com account (where it will stay on file for future events too) or to email a screen shot or picture of your vaccination card to firstname.lastname@example.org so that we have it on file at check in. If your guest does not have a motorsportreg.com account, please email the picture of their vaccination card. If you are opting to covid test prior to the event, please bring a screenshot/photo of your negative result to registration.
Here is what you need to do to upload your vaccination cards to your motorsportreg.com account:
Go to your account in Motorsportreg.com
Choose "My Account"
Click on your name (will need to be done for all members if spouses etc are under this account)
Under "Memberships," find "PCA San Diego Region," click EDIT at far right
The tenth item under memberships gives the option to upload a file or image of your vaccination card. Click UPLOAD, choose the vaccine image or file
At bottom, click "SAVE Club Membership"
