Come join us for an exciting weekend at Willow Springs International Raceway featuring a special Tribute to Porsche's factory Cup Cars, the GTC classes. We'll be hosting our customary cup race classes, Time Attack classes, and Performance Driving Series (PDS) on this legendary 2.5 mile road course (The Fastest Track In The West).
This event always sells out so register early....
On Saturday, Cup Racers will have a practice session, qualifying session and 2 cup races. On Sunday, there will be 1 practice session, 1 qualifying session and 1 cup race. There is a $50.00 fee for registered cup racers to use their qualifying time for the Time Attack, and a $50. fee for registered TA drivers to use their fastest lap for PDS competition.
Time Attack and PDS groups will each have 4 sessions both Saturday and Sunday. Non-Porsche cars are welcome. POC Certified Instructors will be available for Time Attack students. Time Attack student drivers must contact Dwain Dement, Chief Driving Instructor, at: (949) 633-9455 or (949) 770-2888 so that an Instructor can be assigned to work with you at no additional cost. You must call before Nov. 29th, 2015 to ensure your instructor/student pairing.
POC's Cup Racing Clinic will be available for all qualified applicants (minimum of six Time Attack events). Please request and submit your application forms to officeofpoc@aol.com ASAP for consideration! If you do not meet the requirements but have other similar or equivalent qualifications, you may also request an application and waiver form for consideration. The clinic fee for the weekend will be $200 on top of your weekend entry. All GCR requirements for race car preparation and safety equipment will be inspected and enforced. Expect great instruction and one of the most exciting weekends of your life!
Cup Car Spectacular: As a special tribute to Porsche's factory Cup Cars we're promoting this event as our "Cup Car Spectacular" awarding trophies and prizes to the weekend's class winners. GTC Cups will be the lead group in a split start in our Red group. We're hoping for a large turnout of Cups from all over the West Coast....
Friday Testing: Willow Springs Raceway offers Friday testing in the clockwise configuration. The cost is NOT included in your POC registration. Contact the track office for details at (661) 256-6666 or info@willowspringsraceway.com
Early check-in Friday will be 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Coach’s Bar and Grill, located on Rosamond Blvd. approximately 2 miles from the track. Check-in will also be available Saturday and Sunday morning in the Paddock Diner at 7 and 8 AM respectively. Track entry gates will stay open until 10 PM for trailer parking access.
Saturday: There is a mandatory Drivers Meeting at 7:15 am. the track goes hot at 8 am.
Sunday: The track goes hot at 8 am.
WSIR charges a $10.00 entrance fee at the gate. This one-time fee is good for the entire weekend.
Annual Town Hall Meeting: Saturday night in the WSIR diner from 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm. All POC members are urged to attend. This is a great opportunity to discuss topics of concern with your fellow members and Board of Directors. Your participation is of great value to our club. Be there!...
Vehicle tech inspection should be done at an official POC Tech Inspection Station before you get to the track to avoid check-in delays and last minute repairs. All non- Porsche cars participating in PDS must be Tech inspected at the track. Tech inspection at the track will be provided by Pro Motorsports and Vali Motorsports starting at 7:00 AM. The cost is $20, payable to POC.
Tire service: PLEASE support Track Fast Motorsport who will be providing tire services at the event. Track Fast sells Yokohama, Hoosier, Toyo, Nitto and Goodyear tires. Since they're Arizona based they don't charge sales tax and will deliver your tires to the track for free.

Fuel: Leaded and unleaded race fuel will be available at the track both days.
Purchases can only be made by using a credit card.
Directions: I-5 North to Highway 14 North – go N/E past Palmdale and Lancaster to Rosamond, Ca. Take the Rosamond Boulevard exit and go West (left) approximately 6 miles on Rosamond Boulevard to the main track entrance. Coach’s is located on Rosamond Boulevard approximately 2 miles before the track on the north side of the street.
Camping: Motorhome camping will be permitted on Friday and Saturday nights. Be prepared to dry camp. Quiet time will be enforced from midnight to 6AM.
