Porsche-Klassiker-Rallye 2023 - A celebration of Porsche Classic vehicles
Join us for a scenic journey through Colorado's winding terrain as we embark on the Porsche-Klassiker-Rallye 2023. This unforgettable experience promises to test your Classic Porsches durability, treat your senses to breathtaking views, and connect you with fellow Porsche Classic enthusiasts from all over Colorado. Are you wondering if your Porsche sports car qualifies for this tour? If so you're in luck because we're the experts! If you have a 997 or older 911, 987 or 986 Boxster / Cayman, 912, 914, 916, 928, 968, 944, 924, Carrera GT, 917, 904, 906, 908, 910, 901, or a 356 you're welcome to join the tour. Even if you don't have a Classic Porsche yet you're welcome to come cheer for your fellow Porsche owners as they take off. If you're joining us from the Denver metro area don't worry, you can sleep in a bit longer because you can join up with us closer to your neighborhood in Sedalia!

Note: This event is for Porsche Classic Sports Cars, please remember, some Classic Porsche's are older than we are and some require more attention and care than others. So, you know your car better than anyone else, remember to pack what you and your car will need for a full day of adventure!

Porsche-Klassiker-Rallye 2023 Self-Inspection Safety Checklist
The following items must be checked and verified by the driver prior to arriving at the staging area for all driving tours. Note: there is no intention that vehicle parts or components be removed in order to perform this inspection. The vehicle is expected to be safe to drive on the specified route. The owner of the vehicle understands completion of this checklist does not guarantee there will be no damage to his or her vehicle during this event.
Check overall tire condition, including spare tire, for typical wear, with no bulges, gashes or flat spots.
Check that all tire pressures comply with manufacturer’s recommended values.
Visually check condition of vehicle undercarriage. There should be nothing loose or hanging.
Visually check under the vehicle for fluid leaks – brake lines especially.
From exterior of vehicle, visually check that brake pads and rotors are in good condition. No brake pad warning lights on instrument displays.
Check that fluid levels are above the minimum level required (oil, coolant, brakes, power steering, transmission, windshield wiper fluid).
Check condition of all visible hoses, clamps and belts in the engine compartment. There should be no leaks and/or deterioration.
Check overall condition of vehicle exterior. No loose equipment.
Check interior of vehicle. No unsecured items, including in the rear cargo/storage area of the vehicle.
Check that auto insurance is current, and the insurance card and vehicle registration are in the vehicle.
Check that vehicle has sufficient fuel for the route.
Check condition of all wheels for no visible damage. Check that all lug nuts/bolts are installed and torqued to their recommended value.
Check the exhaust system integrity. Nothing loose, nothing rusted through.
If battery is accessible without requiring removal of other components and ensure that it is securely attached and cables are secure on the battery posts.
