Come join us for an exciting weekend of Cup Racing, Time Attack, PDS and Racers Clinic at this legendary 2.5 mile road course! Spots are limited so register early. Don’t miss out!
On Saturday, Cup Racers will have 2 practice sessions, 1 qualifying session and 1 12-lap race. On Sunday, there will be 1 practice session, 1 qualifying session and 2 - 12 lap races.
There is a $50.00 fee for registered Cup Racers to record an official TA time that will be taken from your fastest lap of your Cup Race Qualifying time.
Time Attack and PDS will each have 5 sessions both days. No prior experience is required for PDS. Non-Porsche cars are welcome. POC Certified Instructors will be available for Time Attack and PDS students. Time Attack and PDS student drivers must contact Dwain Dement, Chief Driving Instructor, at 949-633-9455 or 949-770-2888 so that an instructor can be assigned to work with you at no additional cost. You must call before August 29, 2014 to guarantee your Instructor/Student pairing.
We will need a minimum of 15 drivers to conduct the Racers Clinic (the maximum is 30). If you have attended 6 POC Time Attack and/or Time Trial weekend events, you have met some of the requirements to participate. If you do not meet this qualification to attend the Clinic but you have other track experience and would like to be considered, you may e-mail the POC Office at: officeofpoc@aol.com for a Clinic Waiver Application. Please submit your Clinic Entry Form to the Club office before August 25th in order to have your application reviewed. All GCR safety requirements will be enforced. The cost is $495.00 for both days.
Early check-in will be available at Coach’s Bar and Grill on Rosamond Boulevard from 7pm to 9pm Friday evening. Check-in will also be available Saturday morning in the Paddock Diner at 7:00am. Cup Racers and TA participants must present your logbook at check-in; PDS must present a stamped and signed Tech Form from an approved POC Tech Station. WSIR is having a test day Friday for practice and tuning.
Important: A completed POC medical form verifying that driver has passed a formal physical exam is required for all Race Licensed drivers. A new physical and completed medical form is required every two years.
Vehicle Tech Inspection should be completed by an Official POC Tech Station before you get to the track to avoid check-in delays and last minute repairs. Tech inspection at the track will be provided by HRG on Saturday morning. The cost is $20, payable to POC.
Tire service: Track Fast Motorsport will be providing tire services at the event. Track Fast sells Yokohama, Hoosier, Toyo, Nitto and Goodyear tires. Contact Bryan Shackelford at 602-252-3301 trackfastmotorsport@yahoo.com
Fuel: Leaded and unleaded race fuel will be available at the track both days. Purchases can only be made by using a credit card.
Directions: I-5 North to Highway 14 North – go N/E past Palmdale and Lancaster to Rosamond, Ca. Take the Rosamond Boulevard exit and go West (left) approximately 6 miles on Rosamond Boulevard to the main track entrance.
Coach’s is located on Rosamond Boulevard approximately 2 miles before the track on the north side of the street.
Camping: Motorhome camping will be permitted on Friday and Saturday nights. Be prepared to dry camp. Quiet time will be enforced from midnight to 6 AM.

Friday: Main gate is open all day. This is a WSIR open test day
Saturday: Gate opens at 6:00am. Check-in and registration opens at 7:00am. There will be a MANDATORY DRIVERS MEETING at 7:00 am. Track is hot at 8am.
Sunday: Gate opens at 6:00am. Track is hot from 8am to 5pm.
WSIR charges a $10.00 entrance fee at the gate. This one-time fee is good for the entire weekend.
