This is a Special Event in association with
Pirelli Cup, Competent Motorsports and the Porsche Owners Club
Come join us for an exciting weekend of Cup Racing and Time Attack at the historic Laguna Seca road course. Spots are limited so register early. Don’t miss out! This event is a 105db maximum sound limit that will be strictly enforced.
Cup racers will have 1 practice session, 1 qualifying session and one 12-lap race both Saturday and Sunday. There is a $50.00 fee for registered Cup Racers to record an official TA time that will be taken from your fastest lap of your Cup Race Qualifying session.
Time Attack will have 3 timed run sessions both Saturday and Sunday. POC certified Instructors will be available for Time Attack Students. Time Attack Student Drivers must contact Dwain Dement, Chief Driving Instructor, at 949-633-9455 or 949-770-2888 so that an Instructor can be assigned to work with you at no additional cost. You must call before June 14th, 2014 to ensure your Instructor/Student pairing.
Check-in and registration: Paddock entrance will be available for load in at 5:30 pm Friday, June 27. Please find Laurie for check-in and registration.
Garages: Competent Motorsports has first priority to the garages. If any spaces become available the POC will send an E-blast letting you know how to request one.
Vehicle tech inspection should be done before you get to the track to avoid check-in delays and last minute repairs. Tech inspection at the track will be provided by HRG on Saturday morning. The cost is $20, payable to POC.
Tire service: Pirelli Tires will be at the track to service your tire needs. If you use a brand other than Pirelli, please bring them.
Fuel: Leaded and unleaded race fuel will be available at the track both days.
Camping: Overnight (dry camping) may be available in the paddock area on Friday and Saturday nights. The cost is $100.00 payable to the POC; this is a direct charge from Mazda Raceway. For information about the Laguna Seca campgrounds please call 888 588-2267.
Lodging: There are two host hotels for this event. Staying at a POC host hotel will save the club money! Our host hotels are:

Friday: Main gate will open on Friday at 5:30 pm for paddock entry and set up.
Saturday: Mandatory drivers meeting at 8 am sharp in front of the classroom. The track goes hot at 9 am.
Sunday: The track goes hot at 9 am.
