Pocono Region Carlisle Caravan Swap Meet Driving E

Bloomsburg Cracker Barrel

About this event

Hi Folks - here is some info about the upcoming Pocono Region Carlisle Caravan Swap Meet Driving Event.

In 2022 the Central PA Porsche Swap Meet at the Carlisle Fairgrounds is on Saturday April 30th.  We have planned a Carlisle Caravan drive to the event starting from the Bloomsburg Cracker Barrel restaurant located at 228 Mall Blvd, Bloomsburg, PA 17815.  It is about a 2 hour and 20 minute ride.  The route has some really fun parts.  Since Carlisle is farther and the drive is longer, if you want to have breakfast try to be there around 7:00 am (when they open), the Drivers meeting will be at 8:00 am, and we’ll be off at 8:15 am.  That will get us there by ~10:45 am.  Parking at the event is $25 per car with driver and $10 per passenger.  They appreciate exact change.  They will reserve a parking area for our region, so please sign up on MotorSportReg.com by April 23rd if you are going to be a part of our Carlisle Caravan drive, so that we can get a large enough area.  John Emmett – Fam4Emmett@Aol.com .

We will have to comply with any Pennsylvania, PCA, and Carlisle Fairgrounds Covid guidelines (masks, distancing, and waivers) for the swap meet, and drives.  Please bring your own masks and hand sanitizer as this is an outdoor move around event.  If you are coming to the breakfast and/or the drive, please print and fill out the PCA Liability waiver, and Minor waiver if applicable (Liability, Minor).

Thanks, and hope to see you soon, John Emmett

Founded in 1929, the Seeing Eye is the oldest guide dog school in the U.S., and one of the largest. The Seeing Eye campus includes administrative offices, dormitory residence for students, a veterinary care center, and kennels; there is also a breeding station in Chester, NJ. The Seeing Eye, a founding member of the U.S. Council of Guide Dog Schools and a fully accredited member of the International Guide Dog Federation, is a lead researcher in canine genetics, breeding, disease control, and behavior.  See John Emmett at the April 19th Membership Meeting or the April 30th Pocono Region Carlisle Caravan Swap Meet Driving Event to make your donation.
