Pitt Race Trans Am FRP SVRA Test & Tune

Pitt International Race Complex

About this event

This Pitt Race Test and Tune is non-timed, non-competition track time for licensed racers.. This event is designed for those seeking additional seat time for driver improvement, vehicle and chassis tuning, and for those who want practice time on the Pitt Race circuit prior to the weekends events. This program permits advanced passing rules in order to maximize the use of time spent on the track. Pitt Race will not provide instructors for Test and Tune.

Five classes have been pre-set, once we have a reasonable sample of car numbers and types, we will divide the cars into more groups of similar configurations if necessary.  The goal is to give every team and driver as much track time as possible. Pitt Race reserves the right to modify the run groups at any time during the day. NOTE: Group 3 street cars are NOT permitted in this test and tune.

All test days are open to the public for spectating and fans are encouraged to come watch their favorite drivers and teams practice.

$380 per car for full day

Once online registration is closed walk-ups will be accepted at an additional fee.

Test & Tune Daily Protocol:

  • Participants may enter the facility Wednesday, June 5th, beginning at 6pm and stay overnight. Please try to arrive no later than 11pm and do not paddock in an electrical powered spot or garage unless you have pre-purchased the spot.
  • Driver check-in and walk-up registration begins at 7:15 a.m., followed by a mandatory driver’s meeting at 7:50 a.m.
  • No race engines may be started before 8:00 a.m. or after 8:00 p.m. You will be asked to shut off your engine and it may result in a penalty with reduced track time for your vehicle.
  • Test & Tune on-track sessions generally begin at 8:30 a.m. and run until 5:30 p.m., but any given Test & Tune schedule is subject to adjustments and modifications
  • Pitt Race determines the schedule and run groups based on enrollment. In the interest of safety, Pitt Race reserves the right to limit the number of participants on the track at any time.

Cancellations greater than 48 hours before the event start time  will be refunded in full.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the event start time will be credited toward a future Pitt Race Test and Tune.

Cancellations after the start time or no-shows will not be offered refunds or credits. This includes no-shows, withdrawing for mechanical reasons, or crashes.
