Pitt Race Intro to Kart Racing Academy
This Academy was created for a first-time karter that is ready to make a move to Kart Racing. It is designed to give you the basics of Karting and to get a taste of what a real race feels like in kart-to-kart competition.
The 2-hour academy will include:
- Flags and their meanings
- Basic Karting Terms
- Track Etiquette
- Learn the fastest route on the track (The Racing Line)
- ON track time in our Race Prepared Karts
Check-In starts at 1:15 pm. The first session will begin at 2:00 pm sharp.
The waiver link will appear during your registration on the next few pages.
Pricing
- Pre-registration is required. The driver's entry is $55.
- Online registration will close at noon on the day of the event.
Event requirements
Drivers need to wear closed-toe shoes, be 5'-6'2" tall and under 250 lbs to fit comfortably in the kart. Drivers must show up by 4:40 pm or forfeit their spot in the event.
