Welcome to the PCA - Riverside & Orange Coast Region Autocross Events

Porsche Riverside 2019 Championship Series 


 

THIS IS A PCA ZONE 8 POINTS EVENT

Who may Pre-Register: You are NOT required to be a Member of PCA, BMWCCA, or SCCAA to pre-register. If you are driving a Porsche, please classify your Porsche car on the Zone 8 Classification page. To join PCA, go to www.pca.org. You must own a Porsche to join PCA

PCA-RsR & OCR Autocross participation is limited to PCA Members only with the exception of up to 15 Non-Porsche Drivers

PCA-RsR / OCR requires AX participants to produce a membership card (FOR POINTS CONSIDERATAION)and a valid Driver License at Tech Inspection. The name on the Driver License must match the name on the event registration card and AX Tech form.

Registration

     -NOTE:  It takes MotorsportReg.com TWO days to recognize new and updated PCA memberships.

     - Every driver requires their own motorsportreg.com account; your account can only be used to register yourself.

    - All Participants must present a valid driver's license to the registrar at the time of check in.

Payment

     - Registration is only $80

     - You must use either Visa or MasterCard to register.

     - Your credit card will  be charged at the time of booking. 

     - Cancellation policy: If Cancellation is received more than 10 days prior to the event, you will receive a full refund. Cancellations received after that time will be charged a late cancellation fee of $20. All Cancellations, including late cancellations, need to be done through motorsportsreg.com

Autocross Experience:

No prior experience required.

Instructors (provided by RsR & OCR) are required for drivers with less than four Autocross events.

Instructors or a check ride may also be required for experienced drivers new to OCR AX events. 

Tech Inspection:

All entrants must bring a completed and signed Tech Inspection form to the Tech Inspection Team at the event. 

ALL DRIVERS MUST HAVE THEIR NUMBER ON THEIR CAR BEFORE COMING TO TECH INSPECTION

ALL DRIVERS MUST COMPLETE TECH INSPECTION BEFORE COMING TO THE REGISTRATION DESK

IT IS THE DRIVER’S RESPONSIBILITY TO ASSURE THAT ALL LOOSE ITEMS ARE REMOVED FROM THE CAR PRIOR TO PARTICIPATING IN THE EVENT.

2019 Car Classifications & Car Numbers:

There are new rules for car classes!   Please double check your car classing!

All Non-Porsche Cars are classified as "X" Class.

Car Numbers are automatically assigned when you register. This number will be your Car Number for use at all PCA RsR/OCR Autocross events.  To download printable numbers, click here.

Competition Rules:

Zone 8 Competition Rules will be followed and are available at:  http://zone8.pca.org/rules.php.

HELMET & CLOTHING REQUIREMENTS:
All vehicle occupants while on course must wear an approved helmet. Helmets built to Snell Foundation standards or other standards such as FIA 8860, SFI 31.1 and BS6658- 85 Type A-FR are approved for use. Approved helmets must be manufactured to the current rating or the two most recent SA, M or K Snell ratings. For example, if the current Snell SA standard is SA2015, helmets meeting SA2015, SA2010 and SA2005 are allowed. Also, any helmet approved for PCA Club Racing is permitted. Footwear must be non-slip and NOT be open-toe or have heavy-duty soles such as those found on hiking shoes or work boots.

All drivers and guest's including minors, are required to sign both the PCA Waiver.
