PCA-OCR DE Event - Streets of Willow (CW)February 23rd, 2018
Please join us for our first DE at the newly resurfaced streets of Willow. Direction-Clockwise. This is a great track to take your AX skills to the next level to a technical short track. You must have attended 4 PCA OCR auto crosses or comparable and verifiable experience to attend. If you'd like to add an extra day and make it a 2 or 3 day event, PCA San Diego Region will be hosting their second DE/Time Trial event of the year on Saturday and Sunday to follow so please check it out on MSR.

On Track Schedule:
We will post the schedule a week before the event and how many sessions we will have will be determined by how many registrations. There will be a lot of track time for everyone!
We strongly encourage pre tech at one of PCA OCR's approved tech stations. It will not be possible to tech all drivers cars the morning of. It also is best to tech before so if you have a problem you have time to correct it. Any car that does not pass day of tech will not be allowed on track. This can be avoided by properly pre-teching your car and It is very important to use the Zone 8 approved DE tech form and it can be found here. If you are planning on driving with the San Diego Region in their DE/TT the same form can be used to submit to their tech. Please make a duplicate copy to give to the SDR registration team. Unfortunately, at the track we will not have any way of making a copy of it and both registration teams need a hard copy. There is no event on the Thursday before our event as of now so you are welcome to come up any time during the day to set up in the paddock prior to the event (This may be subject to change if the track books an event. We will update this page one day prior to inform everyone if this has changed). The gates close at 10PM on Thursday so you will need to be in before then.
For those that need a hotel room for Thursday or Friday night the Spring Hill Suites in Lancaster is approximately 7 miles away and is offering a PCA rate of $109.00 a night plus tax. Rooms can be reserved by calling 661-729-2390. These rooms are only available on a first come first served basis and may not be available as the hotel fills up. Please call ASAP if you are in need of a room.
Dwain Dement former Professional Driver and owner of Vision Motorsports will be conducting a chalk talk on the Streets of Willow immediately following the drivers meeting. This will be particularly helpful to new drivers who may not have driven the Streets of Willow. He will also be available for some ride a longs throughout the day to help you hone your skills.

Event requirements
Helmets - are to comply with current PCA requirements. Loaners will be available on site.
Experience - 4 plus Autocross events minimum or the equivalent PCA regional experience, to the discretion of the DE Chairs.
All entrants must present a completed Tech Inspection form to the Tech Inspection Team at the event.

If you are planning on attending both the OCR event on Friday and the SDR event on Saturday and Sunday please make a copy of your Tech form. You will only need to be Tech inspected once, but your will need to submit a copy of the Tech form to each region at check in.
Note, If Cancellation is received on motorsportreg.com by 8pm Friday prior to the event you will not be charged.
