About this event
Join us on Saturday, February 25, 2017, for our annual run through the Santa Monica Mountains and beautiful Malibu! This scenic and spirited drive will be followed by brunch at the Paradise Cove Beach Cafe - right on the beach!
Registration for this event is required. Since this run coincides with our Monthly Meeting, the normal $10 event car fee will be waived. But because parking is very limited at Paradise Cove, only 35 autos will be allowed for this event. There will be free parking with validation by the Paradise Cove Beach Cafe.
We will meet at Gelson's Market in Calabassas at 7:30 am. There will be 3 groups of cars with start times of 7:50, 8:10, and 8:30 am. You will be required to legibly sign a waiver by both printing and signing your name; this requirement is being emphasized by the national PCA and will be enforced.
Although the start of our run is on the familiar Mulholland Highway, we will take a slightly different route that has not been driven for several years. The run will last approximately 90 minutes with an estimated arrival time of 10:00 am at the Paradise Cove Beach Cafe. There will be no stops on the run.
Once you have registered, you will receive the address of the starting point on the confirmation page, and a couple of days prior to this run, an email will be sent to all registrants with the detailed route description.
Registration will open Monday, January 23, at noon, and close on Thursday, February 16, at 6:00 pm.
