About this event
Please join us on Saturday, July 15th, as we will continue our northern exploration with a run to the Cold Spring Tavern, a historic stop located on an old stagecoach route in the San Marcos Pass above Santa Barbara. We will have lunch at the Tavern, and everyone is invited to stay and enjoy the live entertainment during the afternoon. Tom Corbett and Bill Knopf will be appearing between 1:30 and 4:30 pm.
For more information about the Cold Spring Tavern, please see:

We will meet up at Gelson’s in Calabasas between 8:30 am and 9:00 am, have our driver’s meeting at 9:15 am, and start our run by 9:30 am.

The drive will be approximately 2 ¼ hours with a “pit stop” somewhere in the middle. Avoiding the extreme heat and possible fire damage we will proceed up the Santa Monica Mountains and hug the coast until Santa Barbara where we proceed up the mountains to the Tavern.
The lunch menu for a group of our size is limited to salads, burgers, veggie burgers, chicken sandwich, and a tri-tip sandwich which is their specialty. A choice of a side dish is French fries or potato salad. Unfortunately they will only issue checks per table, i.e. no separate checks. So maybe cash and calculators would be nice to bring.
Registration for this event will open on June 30th at noon. The regular $10 registration fee per auto is due upon registration. Please register early! Registration is limited to the first 50 people!!
