About this event
ODR-SCCA's will start the 2022 season with our Test and Tune April 2 at Pungo Airfield in VA Beach. This event will require pre-registration, and will have a cap of 30 participants maximum to maintain social distancing and allow adequate testing time for all participants. $45 for SCCA members, and $55 for weekend members. Event operation will per our COVID-19 supplementary event regulations to comply with state and SCCA social distancing and other precautionary recommendations/requirements to ensure a safe fun event. This event will have a simple short course with a slalom, a sweeper, and a lane change. Times will be displayed on the scoreboard, but not recorded. Participants will be split into three heats during the drivers meeting and will work one heat, and drive the other two. Participants can take as many runs as they like during the two drive heats. We may run additional heats, weather and time permitting, if at least 12 participants wish to continue.
Event requirements
There are special restrictions for this event due to COVID-19. All competitors are required to bring their own helmet, face covering, and hand sanitizer. Please read the supplementary regulations for this event in their entirety!

COVID-19 Supplementary Event Regulations
Effective July 11, 2021
1) ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
a) Competitors experiencing COVID-19 symptoms such as fever, cough, or shortness of breath are not permitted entry. Full refunds will be provided to anyone unable to attend due to medical symptoms.
b) Social distancing should be practice to the greatest extent possible.
c) ODR-SCCA reserves the right to modify these regulations for safety as required.
2) GENERAL OPERATIONS
a) Heats will be limited to 10-17 drivers to maintain social distancing in grid.
b) Dual drivers must drive different heats. This is necessary to accommodate minimum cooldown for smaller heats.
c) Vending is presently prohibited by Virginia Executive Order and will not be provided. All competitors must bring their own food and beverages.
d) Vests will not be used. Competitors are recommended to wear bright shirts and avoid red.
