October Autocross

Front Range Airport

About this event

Cones Are a Fallin’ Autocross and Project Angel Heart Cereal Drive

Get ready for one wild ride to wrap up another Porsche driving season with our last driving event of the year.  Mark your calendars to join us Saturday October 28 at Front Range Airport for the 2017 edition of Cones Are a Fallin’ and Cereal Drive Autocross.

Last years Project Angel Heart Cereal Drive was so successful due to the generosity of our autocross community, we want to try it again this year and see if we can top last years haul of 282 boxes and cash donations to purchase 230 additional boxes.  A grand total of 512 boxes!  Once again we are teaming with our charity committee to organize a cereal drive on behalf of Project Angel Heart.  Project Angel Heart was founded in 1991 to address major challenges facing Coloradans living with a life-threatening illness—getting the nutrition they need to get stronger and remain independent in their homes. Many are too sick to get to the grocery store, have to choose whether to buy food or medication, or are too weak to make themselves or their dependents a meal.  We encourage you to learn more about Project Angel Heart by visiting projectangelheart.org.

Just $10 buys 5 boxes of cereal and we have this option available on Motorsport.reg and will collect any monetary donation you wish to make at the event.  What would be real cool is to deliver actual boxes of cereal to the charity that we collect at our autocross event.  To get you motivated your event chair and his lovely wife Stephanie will match the first 50 boxes of cereal - box for box.  Please donate standard size boxes of healthy, whole grain cereals like Cheerios, Raisin Bran and Corn Flakes – no sugary stuff.  Ok, maybe a couple of boxes of sugary stuff for family members. It would be awesome to take pictures of a lot of boxes with our shiny Porsches and pack the club trailer full.

I know several of our members have volunteered and supported this charity for years and many more are familiar with the annual fund raiser – Dining Out for Life.

Thank you for your consideration and onto the autocross details:
