About this event
Pinnacles National Park is special for its towering rock spires formed by ancient volcanoes, unique talus caves created by fallen boulders, and its role as a sanctuary for wildlife, especially the endangered California condor. The park also offers diverse hiking experiences through meadows and canyons and remains one of California's least-visited national parks, providing a sense of solitude away from urban crowds.
Cost to enter park is $30.00 per car. You can get a pass online or purchase at the East Entrance Station with a debit or credit card only. No Cash.
Dogs are allowed on leash in the park, but not on hiking trails or in park buildings
Please read information regarding filming and still photography on their website
We are going to park in the Peak’s View Parking area, depending on availability, and use the picnic tables in that area for lunch.
PLEASE BRING A PICNIC LUNCH and folding chairs
We will have a quick fun trivia game during lunch.
After lunch everyone is welcome to explore the park before heading home.
