2026 Flag Day Tour & Lunch

All “new to tour” members are invited to a special “Flag Day” tour on Sunday June 14, 2026. If you have not participated in a club tour before, this event is for you!  We will be taking a morning drive through Ozaukee county (including thru Waubeka WI - the birthplace of flag day!) and end at the Tulip Cafe in Port Washington for a buffet lunch.

If you have been curious about tours and would like to learn more about what they’re all about, we would love to have you join us for this tour designed specifically for you.  We will explain the rules, provide turn-by-turn instructions, as well as take a few twisty roads to help you enjoy the drive.

The tour will start behind city hall in downtown Cedarburg.  We will have a driver meeting at 9:15am and then depart at 9:30am.  The total drive may take up to 3 hours - allotting for a 20 minute rest stop in Plymouth around 11am.  We will hit some roads in the northern Kettle Moraine area, as well as some favorite local roads from our many tours through this area. We should arrive at the Tulip Cafe by 12:30pm.

We will have a total of 20 cars on the tour, three of which will be tour veterans (the “leader”, the “mid” and the “sweep” positions), meaning 17 slots will be prioritized for “new to tour” members.  However, we will only keep these slots reserved through Sunday May 31, at which point we will open it to the club to fill the event if needed.  In the event we have a sell out ahead of our deadlines, we will start a waiting list.

As we are hoping to encourage “new to tour” participation, the cost is $15/person which includes lunch and a small group activity!
