Attention NASA Drivers - Registration is now open for the April 8/9 NASA Gulf South Event
We will be conducting a Comp School at this event. In order to participate in the race sessions your car must comply with NASA race preparation rules, the driver must apply on line for a competition license, and have an approved medical on file with the NASA National Office. There is a line item below to register for the school. Click here for more details about the school.
The track configuration will be the 2.75 mile with the "esses" which is the same circuit used by SRO for the Fanatec GT World Challenge Events at NOLA Motorsports Park.

GENERAL SCHEDULE
Friday, April 7th - Open Track Day (OTD) Hosted by the track. Click Here to Register.
Load in will be available on Thursday from 2 pm to 9 pm and all day on Friday.
Tech will be open on Friday from 3 pm to 5 pm and on Saturday from 6:30 to 7:30 am.
Mandatory Driver's Meeting on Saturday at 7:30 am.
Track goes hot at 8:00 am.

Event runs rain or shine.
If you are coming in from out of town and would drop your rig early or store it after the event, please email j.crosby@nolamotor.com to make arrangements.
Register now and save. They entry fee increases two weeks prior to the event.
Food service will be available for purchase at Copeland's Mobile Kitchen.
Please note that NOLA Motorsports Park is requiring that all drivers in HPDE and TT wear long pants. This also includes Open Track Days.

SOCIALS & AWARDS
There will be a catered dinner on Saturday night which is free for all drivers and their guests. We would also like to thank our 2023 Race Series Sponsors for helping to make these events possible. The awards for the Saturday Race and TT winners will be presented at the dinner.

HPDE & TT INFORMATION
HPDE drivers are required to get a pre-tech inspection for your car performed by a qualified shop. Click here for a list of shops. You may also use your own shop. There will be a $50 charge to perform a tech inspection at the track if you do not bring your completed tech form. Click here for NASA HPDE Pre-Tech Form.
HPDE1: If you've never been on track before sign up for HPDE1. If this group is full and you have not previously been signed off to run in a solo NASA group, please do not register to run in a higher HPDE group - you will not be allowed to run in a solo group.
HPDE2&3: For drivers that have been signed off to drive on their own. Normal passing rules apply.
HPDE4: Only advanced drivers with open passing skills are permitted in HPDE4.

Time Trial: TT is open passing. You must possess a NASA TT license to be in this class.

HPDE instructors: Sign up under Instructor. Instructors can run in TT or HPDE-4. If you are instructing but not driving, choose "Instructor" as your class.
Race & TT Cars with Annual Tech Stickers are not required to go through tech at each event. Race & TT Annual Tech Form
RACING INFORMATION
Racers must wear a head and neck restraint devices bearing an SFI 38.1 certification. Racer's fire drill will be mandatory once per calendar year. Driver must be in the car, with the engine running, in full gear, and be able to exit the car within 10 seconds.

CANCELLATION/NON-ATTENDANCE POLICY

Our standard policy is to give you a full credit for a future NASA NOLA event with 10 days notice. If you cancel within 10 days or you are a no show, no credit. At any time prior to the start of a race day, the event organizer may deem the track un-drivable due to severe inclement weather. If this happens, a credit towards a future event will be issued for each day of cancellation. Once cars are on the track for the first session, there will be no cancellation. Any updates to this policy will be given 30 days prior to events.
