• HPDE1 – Beginner - Classroom instruction plus 1:1 in-car coaching. Passing allowed only on main straights with a point-by.
• HPDE2 – Novice - For drivers who are comfortable without an in-car instructor. Run group rules are similar to HPDE1. Passing is limited and controlled. No passengers allowed.
• HPDE3 – Intermediate - For drivers with solid experience and consistent pace. Passing is allowed in approved zones with some restrictions and point-bys.
• HPDE4 – Advanced - For experienced, predictable drivers. Open passing with courtesy.
• Time Attack (Sunday only) – $30 - For drivers in HPDE3 or above. Includes a transponder rental. Three laps -- one warm up and two hot laps. One fastest lap counts. Must be combined with HPDE3, HPDE4, Time Trial, or Race Group.
• Time Attack (Sunday only) – $20 (no rental transponder) - Same as above but does not include a transponder..
• Time Trial (TT) - Competitive session for fastest lap times. Requires a valid NASA Time Trial (or NASA Competition license) as well as classing decals posted to the public ST/TT classing database.
• Race Group - Wheel-to-wheel racing for licensed competitors. Requires a valid NASA Competition Racing License.

Gate/Camping Fees:

• Dry camping is $20 per vehicle per night
• Electric hookups are $100 per night.

NOTE: NASA does not charge these fees, this is charged and collected by the track as you arrive onsite.

Disclaimer: The track (INDE) manages this and is not affiliated with NASA. Additionally, if you break your car during "Fri practice", you will not be eligible for a refund or credit that close to the event.

Waiver

Please make sure to sign the NASA digital waiver. You may also be asked to sign a paper waiver for the track once onsite.

NOTE: Minors (<18) must still have their parent(s) or legal guardian(s) sign the NASA hardcopy version at Driver Info and will not be texted asking to sign the digital waiver.

Tech Inspection

All HPDE cars require an onsite tech inspection prior to being allowed on track (1 tech inspection is good for both days). HPDE participants should print and fill out the "HPDE Tech" Form prior to arriving to tech. Race group & Time Trial competitors will use the “Annual Race Car” Tech form.

Driver Information

Will be located near the entrance of the main paddock near the large white enclosed trailer with the NASA flag on top.

Rental Helmets

Rental helmets are available @ $20.

Drivers Meetings / Downloads

The Sat AM drivers meeting is mandatory for ALL drivers & admin. All other meeting times and locations will be announced by each respective Group Leader.

Passengers

1. Passengers MUST be 18+

2. Passengers are only allowed in HPDE3, HPDE4 or Time Trial

3. Passengers are required to sign the "Passenger Waiver" (as well as the general Waiver)

Transponder Rentals

Need to be checked out at registration

Need to be returned to registration within 30 mins of your final session to avoid penalties.

Hardcopy results will be posted on the sign easels at Driver Info. They can also be found online:

Race & TT Classing

All ST & TT competitors are expected to publicly post/declare their classing on the NASA Super Touring website

Handwashing Station

We will have a small table setup near Driver Info with Fast Orange and regular soap and water.

Water / Drinks

Drinks are available for purchase at Driver Info. This is self-service and payment can be made using the black cash box in front of the cooler.

NOTE: We make these drinks free for admin.

Fuel:

• 91 octane @ $9.05
• 100 octane @ $12.50

Safety Equipment: We Don't Lift (WDL)

Photography

We will have at least 1 professional photographer who will have photographs available for purchase after the event. Details and contact info will be at Driver Info.

Tire Service

NASA Arizona will have tire service available on Fri-Sun. Please make payment to Driver Info first and they will collect your requirements and get you in the queue

• $10 – dismount
• $15 – mount
• $10 – balance
• $6 – tire disposal

NOTE: Air is free and is self-serve via the air-chuck located near the front of the NASA AZ gooseneck trailer.

Rules

Participants are expected to follow the NASA Club Codes & Regulations (CCRs) and be aware of the NASA Arizona region specific Supplemental Rules.

NOTICE: iPhone 14+ phones may be set to automatically notify 911 and dispatch an ambulance if a crash is detected. There have been multiple cases where the forces of normal track driving have resulted in a false ambo dispatch. You will be responsible for these fees if this happens! Please leave your phone in the paddock or ensure it is disabled to avoid this.
