Join us for this all day track event of HPDE (High Performance Driving Event) at the SCCA track at Buttonwillows California.
The cost is $225 per single entrant or $325 those that want to share a Mini. This includes loads of track time, turn workers, tow-trucks, flaggers, instructors, & lunch.
For Shared Entries, the primary driver should be the one to pay the entry fee of $325 but the co-driver MUST register themselves, even if you are sharing a car. On the registration form, the first entrant should select the Shared Mini option and pay the total fees of $325. The co-driver, or second entrant should select the Co-Driver option ($0).
This event is for MINI/Mini Coopers only, any model or variation. You will see other makes and models entered. These cars are coaches and will be running in the coaches/race-prep group, NOT with Beg, Int., or Adv.
Participants must be 18 years old, have a valid driver’s license and proof of current insurance. Guests must be 18 years old to take free rides (Parade Laps) @ Lunch. You must fill out the on-line registration form & vehicle technical check list, http://www.minithunderhill.com/Event_Registration.cfm
You will need a SA 2005 or newer rated helmet. That is “A” for automotive and not “M” for motorcycle. Be sure to get to the track early to get your helmet. If you decide to purchase a helmet we suggest that you purchase a SA 2010 or newer.
This event is open to all MINI/Minis of all types and models. You may notice other cars entered. These are coashes and instructors cars.
COACHES : If you have already coached at one of our MINI Thunder events, please proceed and register as a coach. If you have NOT coached at one of our events, please send Eric Diamond your coaching and driving experience and a request to coach. We will review and advise you. Please do not register as a coach until you have gooten our response.
