We have a great tour lined up – so come join us for a fun day of Backroads Driving, Food and Museum tour.

The Military Vehicle Technology Foundation (MVTF) oversees one of the largest and most significant collections of historical military vehicles in the world. Their goal is to acquire, restore, and interpret the historical significance of 20th and 21st century military vehicles. Domestic and foreign combat vehicles such as tanks, armored cars, self-propelled artillery, and other technically interesting mobile platforms are the focus of the collection. Aside from the vehicles, there are towed artillery, antitank, and antiaircraft guns.

January 19^th is not a regular Mimi’s (4775 Hacienda Dr., Dublin) breakfast gathering, some of us will be there early if you want to join us; Otherwise plan on meeting at 8:45 am for Driver’s meeting with a departure at 9 am.

We will have a leisurely drive through some Bay Area backroads and enjoy a fixed-prix menu at a local restaurant. After lunch, we will continue to the MVTF Museum.  The museum tour will last approximately 2 hours.

The total cost per person is $42 – it includes:

·         At MVTF:  $20 tour donation pp  - MVTF is a 501(3)c organization – thus tax deductible.

·         At Restaurant: Fixed-Price lunch menu include one entrée and one drink (w/refills) plus tax and tip.               Please choose one entree:

o   PK Cobb Salad = gorgonzola, chicken, corn ,avocado, egg, tomato, pancetta

o   Spaguetti Marinara = meatballs, tomato, ricotta salata

o   Vegetarian Spaguetti  Marinara = tomato, ricotta salata

o   PK Burger = provolone, wild arugula, herb aioli, red onion
