DRIVE AND DINE TO BAVARIAN INN, RESORT AND BREWING COMPANY, SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV
On Saturday morning, October 26, the Drive & Diners will gather at a location in Potomac, MD, then drive down some unusual back roads in Montgomery and Frederick counties heading to the Bavarian Inn Resort & Brewing Company, in Shepherdstown, WV. The registration fee is $45 per person, which includes lunch.
After a brief rest stop in Point of Rocks, MD, we will continue to the Bavarian Inn, going over a hill or two and cruising along the West Virginia side of the Potomac River. A buffet lunch will be waiting for us at the Inn. The chef will be preparing:
- Field Green Salad with Rhineland Vinaigrette
- Chef’s Daily Prepared Soup
- German Potato Salad
- German Pretzels with Mustard
- Bratwurst over Sauerkraut
- Chicken Schnitzel
- Marinated Portobello Mushrooms
- Buns, Grilled Onions, Mustard to Create your Own Sandwich
- Cookies & Brownies
- Non-alcoholic beverages
That will conclude the organized portion of the D&D. The folks at the Inn tell us that this weekend usually is one of the peak weekends for the fall foliage and it’s close to Harpers Ferry and the Antietam Battlefield if you want to do some touring on your own.
Event requirements
APPLICATIONS/ACCEPTANCE
- Registration will be limited to 60 people.
- Registrants will initially be listed as “New” or "Waitlisted" if the event is filled.
- Formal notification of acceptance into the event will be sent via email. You are responsible for updating your profile information in MotorsportReg to include your current contact and billing information.
- If you haven’t received any notification, check the MSR website for your status.
- PCA Potomac Drive & Dine rules will be followed for the safety of all participants. (Discussed at the drivers’ briefing).
- An electronic version of the Drive & Dine rules, maps, and written directions will be emailed to the primary member identified in MSReg, You will be responsible for printing as needed.
PAYMENT
- PCA Potomac accepts only credit cards for payment. You are responsible for maintaining VALID CREDIT CARD INFORMATION in your MSR profile.
- Payment will be requested from your designated credit card 14 business days prior to the event.
- Billing problems result in notification by email with limited time to resolve due to the short billing cycles. If the issue is not resolved, you may be canceled from the event.
- Credit card and billing information uses secure connections and is protected by MotorSportReg.com. You are the only person who has access to your card number. We only see the last four digits for billing purposes.
EVENT Cancellation
- Cancellations must be made no later than October 12th, 2024, to get a full refund. If you cancel on October 13th or after, you will be issued a refund ONLY if we can fill your spot from someone on the wait-list.
- If you must cancel, please cancel as soon as possible to allow others from the wait-list to attend.
- If you cannot cancel online, you must notify the Dine and Drive POC by email and receive an ACKNOWLEDGEMENT by email to verify that have you been canceled
SPEEDWAIVER - All participants, including drivers and guests, must agree to and sign the electronic SpeedWaiver form.
- The primary member will receive a text message to complete a virtual waiver via their smartphone.
- Additional passengers can complete the speed waiver using the following link: https://pcapotomacdd.speedwaiver.com/idsln.
- For children riding along on the scenic drive, you must also complete this form: Minor_and_Parent_Form-WAIVER-PCA2009 (2).pdf. Bring the completed form with you to the event or email it to the event host.
Note: Alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase at the venue after the driving portion of this event has concluded. You must be 21 yrs old or older to consume alcohol. Please drink responsibly and do not drink and drive.
