You may have noticed that we have had some stormy, rainy, snowy weather lately. Because of that weather some of the roads we planned on using for this month’s FFN have been closed. So we are postponing Joe Batwinis’s 3-themed rally to a future month.
Instead, Jeanne English has ‘refurbished’ an FFN from years ago for this ‘I’m pretty sure there won’t be snow’ rally this coming Friday night. The rally runs west toward Agoura Hills and Westlake Village. There are no course-following traps (everyone drives the same route), but there are a few pauses that you will have to decide whether to do or not. The rally finishes at the IHOP, 5031 Kanan Rd, Agoura (at Kanan and the 101 Freeway).
The rally uses the Richta GPS Competitor app for timing and scoring, with timing in seconds. The maximum penalty this month is 120 seconds (2 minutes) per checkpoint. The app is FREE and easy to use on any GPS-enabled smartphone. Go to the App Store or Google Play Store, or https://richtarally.com/. There is no need for additional timing equipment or clocks – your Official Time shows in the app!

In-person registration opens at 7:00 pm, with the first car out at 8:01 pm; there is a beginner/Richta meeting at 7:40 pm.
