Join us March 14th in Los Angeles for the "Ron Dunlop Memorial Road Rally!"

WHAT:
An SCCA-Sanctioned "Monte Carlo Style" Navigational Tour RoadRally. All checkpoints are clearly marked and you are given easy-to-follow, turn-by-turn instructions. On this rally you will be given mileages to each checkpoint and the exact time to be there!  There are no set speeds.  You pick a speed (at or below the legal limit, of course).  If you get to the Checkpoint early, you can creep or stop without penalty until your time to cross the Checkpoint.

This rally is Event #3 of the 2026 Southern California Road Rally Championship (SCRRC), a joint championship between the Santa Monica Sports Car Club and the San Diego Region of the SCCA. WHEN:
Saturday, March 14, 2026

Competitors can check-in and receive their Route Instructions starting at 9:00 a.m.

Competitor meeting at 9:30 a.m.

First car out at 10:01 a.m.

WHERE:
START:  Dinks Deli & Bagel Bakery, 28170 Newhall Ranch Rd, Santa Clarita, CA 91355. Come in, grab a coffee and something from Dink's great breakfast menu. Check-in will be outside the café.

We will spend the day touring the BEST roads we can find.

PRICE:
The entry fee is $35 per car. The driver or navigator must be an SCCA member, however weekend memberships can be purchased for $15 which can be credited towards a full membership.

AWARDS:
Trophies awarded to the top finishers in each class at the finish. Results will be posted online following the event.

LENGTH:
The rally will cover approximately 85 miles over 3.5 hours on fun-to-drive, scenic roads following legal speed limits.

This rally uses the Richta GPS Competitor app for timing and scoring. The app is FREE and easy to use on any GPS-enabled smartphone. Go to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, or https://richtarally.com/. There is no need for additional timing equipment or clocks - your Official Time shows in the app!

PARTICIPANTS:
Each vehicle MUST have at least two participants, a driver and a navigator. Passengers are allowed, but no more than can be safely carried in the vehicle and they must sign the event waiver.

WHY:
The object of a navigational rally is to follow the rally course at the assigned (legal) speeds and to arrive at each checkpoint on time; not early, not late. Your score on each leg of the rally is based on how early or late you arrive at each checkpoint.
