You're invited to join the Mid-America Cobra Club and the Heart of America Jaguar Club for an adrenaline-pumping autocross event at the Metropolitan Community Colleges Blue River Precision Driving Center, located at 1322 S Powell Rd., Independence, MO 60457. Mark your calendar for Saturday, September 27th!
The Precision Driving Center is a big facility, and we can guarantee that you are going to enjoy the large and challenging course layout we've designed. All makes & models welcome. Entry is just $60 per driver, and multiple drivers can share a car.

Spectators are $5 per person, and can pay at the gate on the day of the event. Be sure to bring your camping chairs and coolers with food and beverages (alcohol is prohibited).
Autocross is a fantastic way to learn the handling characteristics of your car and sharpen your driving skills, all in a very safe environment.

Event requirements
Registration opens at 8 AM and closes at 10 AM. All drivers MUST attend the driver's meeting. Every driver will be expected to work a corner during a heat when you are not in the car.
Car Requirements
- Drivers will submit a self-tech inspection form for each car which will be verified by an event official.
- Car numbers need to be in a contrasting color, a minimum of 8" in height, and on both sides of the car.
- Loose objects must be removed from the trunk (including floor mats), passenger compartment, and glove box prior to participating.
- Roll bars are strongly recommended for convertibles. Any additional safety equipment is encouraged for all cars.
- Belts or harnesses are required for both seats if you are taking passengers or instructors.
Safety Requirements
- Drivers, instructors, and passengers are required to wear a DOT or Snell-approved helmet (open-faced or full, but no half-helmets AKA "brain buckets"), along with closed-toe shoes. No open-toed shoes, sandals, or bare feet are permitted.
- Long pants are highly encouraged for drivers, instructors, and passengers, but not required.
- No standing, loitering, or spectating on the grid or close vicinity of the course unless you are an event official or participant.
- If you see a dangerous condition, report it immediately to Control personnel.
Rules & Conduct
- No alcoholic beverages or drugs are permitted at the event at any time.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- Dogs must be leashed.
Any driver who damages equipment will be responsible for the cost of repair or replacement.
Misconduct or actions that go against the spirit or purpose of the Autocross Program will not be tolerated.
Authority & Enforcement
The Autocross Committee reserves the right to immediately suspend driving privileges or refuse entry to anyone who cannot adhere to the rules.
Drivers who do not comply will be disqualified and asked to leave the event.
