The hills of WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca will be alive with the sound of music, and rawrs, this coming weekend of May 1-3. The “RAWR”ing dinosaurs are, of course, the 992 GT3 R’s of AO Racing: Rexy (Sketchy) and Roxy. The sound of music is delivered by the Porsche 963s of the Porsche Penske Motorsports team, newly sponsored by Apple Music.

Both race teams have generously agreed to provide PCA members of the Redwood Region and Zone 7 a tour of their paddock facilities. The tour of the Porsche Penske Motorsports team will occur on Saturday; qualification day. The AO Racing team visit will occur on Sunday, race day morning.

While there is no charge for the Porsche Penske Motorsport tour or the AO Racing tour, attendees will need to purchase a race day ticket. This can be done the day of the race at WeatherTech Laguna Seca or online. Children 15 and under are free. For up to date information on ticketing please go to the official track website.

You can sign up for both tours or just one. The tours are totally free, but you don’t want to wait long to sign up and miss out. Of course, following the tour you will be able to cheer on the #6 and #7 963's and Rexy(Sketchy) and Roxy as they compete in the GTP, GT Pro and GT Pro/Am categories for qualification supremacy on Saturday and for race day honors during Sunday's feature IMSA 2 hour and 40 minute race. WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca is also offering Porsche Corral Parking that includes 20 minutes of Porsche Parade Laps around the famous Laguna Seca Raceway inclding, of course, the infamous Corkscrew.
