About this event

Cal Club Region - Solo is pleased to present the Kumho Course Design/Safety School, featuring The Real Roger Johnson. You will learn directly from one of the masters in course design, The Real Roger Johnson, as he leads a morning classroom session discussing the theory and practical considerations in designing a fun and safe autocross course. Saturday afternoon, after selecting a design, you will follow the master while the Sunday practice course is set up. Sunday you get to enjoy the fruits of your labor!
As an added bonus, this program qualifies as a school if you're a safety steward seeking recertification or if you'd like to be newly licensed as a safety steward. (The safety steward designation is optional. However, knowing the concerns of a safety steward will undoubtedly make your course design career less frustrating!) If you accept a safety steward designation, the Sunday practice will count as a "shadow event".
