Departing El Dorado Hills Town Center we’ll head south to  enjoy lunch at the Highway-4-Diner in the historic gold mining town of Murphys.  We’ll  pass through Ione, Sutter Hill, Jackson, San Andreas and Angels Camp before turning east up Murplys Grade Road for our destination.  A half way stop will allow you to stretch your legs, grab a drink and have access to well stocked, clean restrooms.   Expect a number of side trips off SR 49 along the way to enjoy your Porsche on less traveled foothills roads. 

Enjoy the afternoon browsing the shops on Main Street, or sampling wines at the many wineries and tasting rooms in the area.  https://visitmurphys.com/
