If you do not have a MotorSportReg account, one must be created first. In addition, every event attendee does NOT need to create an account on MotorSportReg.com. For example, if three family members are attending one person can create an account - if one does not already exist - and then select 3 attendees on the event registration page.
Event requirements
This Wine Tasting Party has become a signature event. And, due to the high attendance, it is a RSVP only event through the MotorSportsReg website as will be limited to the first 60 people registered and paid. Sign up anytime before May 11th in order to give Joe and Jane a final headcount in time to prepare the correct quantity of food. In order to defray some expenses of this party, the club will be requiring a $15 per person cover charge and this payment will be collected at the time of registration as is done with the After Holiday Party.
This year's party will be held Saturday, May 16th from 6:30-10PM at the Galownia residence (address is provided in the confirmation of registration) in New Albany, Indiana. It is a great time to socialize, meet other club members, and enjoy some excellent food and spirits.
The format for the wine tasting is structured so that everyone will get to taste many different wines. Each person (or couple) is to bring TWO bottles of the SAME wine. Price point is $10-25. For the tasting, one bottle of each wine will be opened to sample/taste. The second bottle will remain in reserve, unopened. After dinner, the names of those attending (one per couple) will go into a hat for a drawing. Luck of the draw, each name is pulled and that person (or couple) gets to select from the unopened bottles as to which bottle they want to take home.
