Saturday Schedule: Aussie Challenge (Head to Head)

8:30AM-10:00AM - Online and Walk-in Registration
 
8:30AM-10:00AM - Tech Inspection open
 
9:00AM-10:00AM - Course open for walking
 
10:00AM-10:15AM - Mandatory Driver's Meeting
 
10:30AM First car on course. Begin double elimination bracket

45 minute break for lunch.

After the final duel - Trophy Presentation

If time allows, Fun Run Duels (challenge anyone to a duel)

***If it's not freezing cold, Brian Ballinger will be camping on site and others are more than welcome. He's going to see about a bonfire, and adult beverages will be welcome.
 
Aussie Challenge:
A double-elimination tournament where two cars run head-to-head around a circuit. First car back to its respective start line wins the round. Best two of three rounds wins the Duel.
There will be a “losers” bracket.

10:15AM - First Heat Workers report to SCCA Bus for work assignment

10:15AM - First heat drivers report to grid

10:30AM - First car on course

1 hour Lunch

After lunch -  First Car on course for afternoon heat

After final car – Awards/Trophies

All payments are made the day of event.

Pre-registered entrants:
$20 Single Day - $30 Both Days for SCCA Members
$35 Single Day - $45 Both Days for Weekend Members*

*Weekend memberships available onsite at Registration and are good for both days.

Event requirements

1. Minors
All Minor’s (competitor or spectator under 18) at the event site MUST be accompanied by at least one parent (or legal guardian) during the entire course of the event. The parent (or legal guardian) must complete a Minor Liability Waiver for all accompanied Minors at the site.
For Minor Competitors, BOTH parents (or legal guardians) MUST sign a Minor Liability Waiver before the minor may be allowed to compete. Proof of full legal custody is required for single-parent households.
A parent (or legal guardian) of any Minor Competitor MUST remain at the event site until the completion of the event.
Copies of the Minor Liability Waiver are available before events upon request from the Solo Chairman.

2. 4 Wheel Drive or High Center of Gravity Vehicles
Due to the increased chance of rollovers, 4 wheel drive vehicles (not AWD) or vehicles with a high center of gravity and a narrow track are not allowed. Examples of excluded vehicles include but are not limited to:
Any vehicle on light truck rated tires.
Any vehicle with a 4-wheel drive transfer case.
Any full size van.
Any mini-van.
Any vehicle with a lift kit.
Any vehicle with a wheelbase exceeding 116 inches.
Any vehicle deemed by the Solo Chairman, Event Chairman, or Solo Safety Steward to be at risk of a rollover.
Examples of vehicles: Suzuki Samurai, Jeep CJ series, Geo Sidekick, Chevy Blazer, Ford Explorer, Dodge Caravan, Honda Odyssey, Ford F150 4WD, Dodge Ram 4WD, Chevy Silverado 4WD

3. Helmets
There will be a limited number of loaner helmets available.
Helmets meeting the following standards must be worn while on course:
All helmets meeting the latest or two immediately preceding Snell Foundation standards (SA2010, SAH2010, SA2005, SA2000, M2010, M2005, M2000, K2010, K2005, K98), SFI standards 31.1, 41.1, 31.1A, 31.2A, 41.1A, 41.2A or British spec BS6658-85 type A/FR are acceptable.
Formula Junior drivers must use helmets meeting the above, SFI 24.1 (Youth Helmets), Snell CMR2007 (Children’s Motorsports Restricted), or Snell CMS2007 (Children’s Motorsports Standard) specifications.
For maximum protection, helmets must fit securely and should provide adequate peripheral vision. The chin strap must be securely fastened.
