Event requirements

Rally Rules.  What to Bring.  What to Expect

If you're new to Rallying, here's what you need to bring, what you need to anticipate, and what it takes to win. And when we say "YOU" we are referring to the "TWO" of you.

There will beat least two people in each car, a Driver and a Navigator. Anyone else you choose to bring along is free of charge.

You may want to bring along some form of Stop Watch. Your cell phone will work but an actual Start/Stop/Lap device might be desired.

A Clip Board might also come in handy since you will be given a set of course directions with questions to answer .  It might help if you are not relying on your knee as backing when you write the answers.  And since you will be writing, you will need a pen or pencil. Crayons are not recommended but we will have a pen for you if you forget.

Although we are a part of the sports Car club of America, any street legal vehicle is eligible. THIS IS NOT a race, and you will be required to follow all traffic laws, so a really fast car is entirely at your discretion.

So the name of the game is Timing and Observation. You will be given an array of things to look for and objectives to complete. We will give you everything you will need to complete the course and guarantee you'll have fun doing it. You just need to Drive, Navigate, don't stress, and have fun!

Parts of the course may be timed right down to the second. Don't go too fast or too slow.. Other parts of the course may NOT be timed and therefore time is not critical there. You will be scored on how well you complete all the tasks.

Some rallys may be completely about time. They are known as Time, Speed, Distance Rallies. Other rallies might have timed portions or no timed portions or Total Time might be judged. Your Rally Master will explain specific rules for each rally at the driver's meeting and can answer any questions you might have before you leave the Starting Gate.

The most CRITICAL item is SAFETY, followed by having a good time, enjoying the day, and returning for a future Rally!!

                                                                                                           SEE YOU THERE !!
