Weekend Schedule for the "Come Home Alive" advanced driver training program and autocross Ilwaco#3@Astoria aka Ocean Run VII
Friday, May 14 Evening; Classroom training and seminar. Saturday, May 15, Morning; meeting, vehicle technical inspection followed by Behind the Wheel training with very experienced drivers; Lunch Break; Afternoon; training continues on an autocross course. This course will also be available for practice runs ( ticket runs, i.e. normal Saturday practice)
Limited number of entry slots: Driver training @ 15; autocross entries @ 30

"Come Home Alive" Training Program is limited to 15 participants, 16-21 years old, and the cost is $10.00 (to cover cost of materials). Preregistration is required for the course, this can only be accomplished by calling 503-861-9288 and asking to register. Required action include registering for the program, completing a minor waiver, attending the evening classroom training and seminar, and the behind the wheel training.
The autocross Ilwaco #3 @ Astoria Airport, also known as Ocean Run VII, will have normal practice on Saturday, May 15, after the lunch break; with a competition autocross on Sunday, May 16. The autocross is limited to 30 competitors. Autocross competitors are invited to come help with the the advanced driver training program in the morning.
