Rocky Mountain Chapter's Annual Ice Gymkhana
Come join us on the ice at Georgetown Lake on Saturday, January 20, 2018 for the chance to learn and enhance your winter driving skills. A winter skid pad and a gymkhana course will be set up for you to make your best-timed run in your vehicle. Registration will open Dec 10th, 2017 at 6pm MTN. This is a very popular annual event that is limited to only 25 participants. Therefore registration is limited to BMW CCA members and their immediate family. So be sure to register early. To become a BMW CCA member, please visit www.bmwcca.org.
We will meet at the ALPINE, 1106 Rose St, Georgetown , CO at 8:30 AM for a brief, REQUIRED instruction session and breakfast buffet. Activities at the lake will start at 9:30 AM. After the gymkhana, we will have awards. The entry fee of $60.00 per person includes the breakfast & Lunch buffet, practice, gymkhana and prizes.
Cancellations are allowed up until Dec 30th, 2017. After this date there is a $20 cancellation fee.

Event requirements
The number of participants is limited to 25 and a waitlist will be accepted. Registration will close on Dec 30th, 2017. Walkup registrations are not allowed. Wait listed folks, will only be contacted if a spot opens up after registration has closed. If you were on the waitlist, and was not contacted by the registrar, and you still show up..we will not allow you to participate. We have limited space and time, which is why our cap for the event is at 25.

What to bring!
Here are some suggestions as to what to wear to the Ice Gymkhana:
1. Dress warmly in layered clothing. (The wind on the lake can be brutal!)
2. Bring a hat, gloves and/or mittens.
3. Sun block will help protect against reflected rays from the ice and snow.
4. Lip balm can be used to prevent chapped lips. Runners use Vaseline on cheeks and lips,
so take a tip from them.
5. Waterproof winter boots for your tootsies, but wear them loosely so they won’t cut off circulation.
6. Bring your own water and hot drinks.
This online registration system will accept payment by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover) or electronic funds transfer directly from your checking account. We will be using a deferred payment method. This means that a hold will be placed on your credit card for the registration amount, however we will not actually charge your account until after registration closes on Dec 30th, 2017.
