Join us for our second annual STARS,STRIPES & SPEED HPDE & Track Takeover Extravaganza!! HPDE - Food Trucks, Vendors, Live Music, Drifting & Car Shows and more!! Going on all Saturday within the WGI facility. If you were there in 2025 you know not to miss this one!

- Watkins Glen International's full course (the 3.4-mile Grand Prix or "Boot" configuration features 11 turns. This includes the famous Esses (Turns 2-4/5), the Inner Loop chicane, and the four additional turns in the Boot section
- .The track has a significant elevation change of approximately 115-141 feet per lap, with notable climbs through the Esses and a descent into the Boot. Sources like the official track FAQs and motorsport databases commonly cite 115 feet as the total change
- Why It's Special: Known for its historic significance (former F1 US Grand Prix host), fast and flowing nature, scenic Finger Lakes location, and reputation as a bucket-list track demanding precision and rewarding smooth driving.

- The standard load in time is 6pm the day before an event.

Run Groups
Novice (Red Group)
For newer track drivers (0–10 events). In-car instructor required; lead follow available for Novice Solo drivers. Point By Passing in designated straights.
Intermediate (White Group) Requires prior experience and instructor approval. Point By Passing anywhere steering is straight. 10+ track days
Advanced (Blue Group)
Experienced, solo drivers. Comfortable managing traffic at an elevated pace, is highly predictable. Multiple tracks driven. Point By Passing anywhere on track. 40+ track days
Expert (Yellow Group)
Highest level; years of track experience. Multiple tracks driven in all conditions, comfortable going side by side with other cars in traffic, handles pressure accordingly & is highly predictable. Passing anywhere point-by optional but recommended. Must be cleared by C.I.

Track Damage Defense of up to $1,000.00 - We will cover the first $1,000 of facility damage for $100.00 / one day or $150 / full event
Cancellation Policy
31 days or more before an event: Event fees minus a $50 processing fee will be refunded. Alternatively, this amount can be credited to your HOD account for use at another HOD event in the same region (valid for 12 months)
11 – 30 days before an event: Event fees, minus a $100 per event day cancellation fee, will be credited to your HOD account for use at another HOD event in the same region (valid for 12 months).
10 days or less before an event, or are a no-show at an event: All event fees will be forfeited.
Driver Track Ready Acceptance:
Drivers are hereby informed and acknowledge that refunds or credits, whether partial or full, will not be issued for any loss of track time arising from the presentation of a vehicle or equipment that is unprepared, unsafe, or mechanically deficient at the event. Events run rain or shine.
Event requirements
Safety & Technical
Age Requirement: 18+ (16-17 with parental waiver, must be signed at registration by parent or legal guardian)
Helmets:
- SNELL SA2020 or newer. No Motorcycle (MA) helmets.
- Closed face helmets with visor are required for convertibles
- Helmets are available for rent at $50/day includes balaclava

Clothing:

- Street Cars/full interiors: Short sleeves OK, long pants, closed-toe shoes.
- Race Cars/gutted interiors: FIA or SFI Rated race suit, gloves, race shoes – recommended.
Tech Inspection:
- Vehicles must pass a self tech form. See link: tech inspection form Driver accepts all responsibility for bringing a track ready car to the event.
- Seats & restraints must be equal for passenger and driver. Refunds will not be given for mechanical failures or unprepared cars. You are solely responsible for bringing a track ready vehicle to the event.
- Convertible Policy: Must have fixed roll bar and meet “broomstick” test. Active roll bar systems must be deployed prior to going on track. Refunds will not be given for unprepared cars. You are solely responsible for bringing a track ready vehicle to the event.
- Drivers Track Damage Responsibility: Drivers must cover any track damage or cleanup costs they cause; fees will be charged to the credit card on file on event day. If the track damage invoice is incomplete at event close, we may estimate damages. Refunds will be issued if our estimate exceeds actual damages. Optional Track Damage Defense up to $1,000 available, see Event entry fees.
- No Passengers other than HOD cleared Instructors are allowed in car at NJMP. Passengers allowed at other venues for solo cleared drivers. Passengers must have a passenger wrist band (available at registration)

- HANS Devices -A certified (SFI 38.1, FIA 8858 or newer) head and neck restraint device (HANS) MUST be used by all occupants of any car with an aftermarket harness and roll bar/cage system.
Prohibited Vehicles: SUVs, trucks, motorcycles, open-wheel vehicles.
Additional Prohibited Vehicles at NJMP events: Exocet, Radical, Atom, Rush and similar small frame vehicles.
Amenities:
- Paddock Space: For personal tents/canopies, trailers – Hooked On Driving is not responsible for lost or damaged property
- Camping: Overnight available on-site Electric service can be purchased from the track directly. Entrance to the paddock & trailer drop-offs are allowed after 7:00 PM the night before the event. All vehicles must leave the facility by 6:00 pm on the last day of the event.

- Social BBQ: Will be held in the paddock after track goes cold Saturday night – Hot Dogs / Burgers / Sides will be provided by HOD NE. BYOB
